Genomics is essentially the study of how our genome works and how we can affect it and what that all does. What we mostly studied in class is cutting edge techniques for sequencing the genome. Neat stuff.
-
Woo! 77 on my Genomics final! I'm ok with it since I was actually worried that I'd fail it and I ultimately pulled a B in the class. Hooray for passing the only class I cared about this semester!

That plus all the drinking I imagine will be going on. It's not gonna be a good place for people under 18.
-
I am all over that Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency!
-
I contest that this story is in actuality, the most amazing thing to ever exist, ever.
-
Thank god you're all right, it wouldn't be the same with out you.
-
I have no idea what I'll be doing by August. I'm gonna graduate at the end of June so I'll probably be starting a job somewhere in Maryland soon after that. If I can get a few days off I'd love to drive to Michigan, it's just way too early to know if I'll be able to.
-
Me too! Maybe if two people have this problem, a solution will be developed!
-
Only fish need water to breathe! Clearly, fishhats can process oxygen like mammals. Stop rubbing the laser, it's creeping me out!
-
I'd need to see what constitutes being an "undesirable" before I have an opinion on it. This: makes it sound like they were just kicking out people with criminal records, and I do disagree with that, but it may be more complex than that.

What exactly are we building out of widow's bones and baby blood?

But everyone knows the cool temperature slows down the chemical reactions in the pot, making it last a little longer than normal.

I can't believe they're actually doing this, Dr. Pepper is such a Ryan company.
-
I gotta say, that smiley's actually creepin me out pretty hard.
-
Ha ha, it makes me so happy that someone called them out on their bullshit.
-
This Thanksgiving, try something both conventional and Ryan. A turkey wrapped in bacon.
-
John McCain sounds like the G-Man; and that freaks me the hell out.

I gotta tell you guys, I think smoking is an outright disgusting habit. The look, the smell; I honestly cannot think of a single reason to smoke.
-
Taking notes in caps totally sucked, but I'll probably have fond memories when I get to that section when I study.
-
OH MY! I HAD FORGOTTEN ENTIRELY ABOUT ALL-CAPS DAY! GOOD THING I DIDN'T TAKE ANY NOTES IN CLASS OR I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THEM IN LOWER CASE. BUT FROM HERE ON OUT, I PLAN TO ENJOY A LONG AND HEALTHY ALL-CAPS DAY.
-
Wow, that's worse than the other two. I mean, the previous two guys might have been idiots, but they weren't trying to light themselves on fire, it just happened.
-
I don't believe mine warranted pictures. It was an old can of NesTea and orange kool-aid. Not bad but an unpleasant after taste.
-
People stomp on broken skateboards all the time. That guy wasn't really stupid, it was just a one in a million shot. However, filling a cantaloupe with gasoline, lighting it, and then hitting it with a baseball bat, is pure stupidity.

Sorry, but I'm not gonna buy a music game that uses midi files instead of real music. Another funny conducting story, band practice is at the end of they day. In the last 10 minutes of class the principal comes in and talks with the director a bit. After that, she says she'd like to try and conduct the National Anthem.…

Sorry Carter, while you've been gone this forum has become only about politics and news.

I gotta say, I'm in the last year of my education right now and I cannot wait to be done with it. It's like everyone else is graduating and going out to be real people and do real things that matter; plus they get paid, and that's awesome. Meanwhile, I'm stuck here, going through routines five days a week, and stressing…

Turkish subdistrict, "Batman", to sue Warner Brothers

Now I feel sad for McCain. I'd thought that the man from 8 years ago was still in there somewhere and he was just being suppressed by advisers and pandering. Those points just confirm it. It reads like a story of a guy that finally gets to do what he really wants, but they force him to do it their way instead of his and he…

Well this presents an interesting dilemma. What, exactly, constitutes a novel? I don't want those guys after me if I'm just typing up a lab report.
