  • I feel the same way when I intentionally disregard spellcheck when I'm drunk. Soooo many red squigglies yelling at me... Love you too Andrew! This weekend is gonna be the SHIT for drunk posting. You just wait and see, why don't ya.
  • The last time I was with Greg's grandfather (who is also in his 80s), he and Greg got into a conversation about something that happened like 5 years before, and Greg's grandpa said something along the lines of "Oh, when you're my age, 5 years ago seems like yesterday." 5 years is one fourth of my lifetime. D:
  • Uhh... fried chicken and corn bread? Watermelon? Think of any stereotypical African American food. Edit: That didn't take long.
  • Huh, the season's already over? I only watched the first episode... one of my good friends who is living with me right now LOVED the show though. We don't have HBO over here, so he would go over to a friend's house whenever there was a new episode so he could watch. Weeks go by too fast anymore. Does that mean I'm old now?
  • I missed the deleted post D:
  • Maaaaannn last night was fun. I went to sleep at 8:30 am, woke up to my alarms at 10, and I think I'm still drunk. Fantastic.

  • Roll Out!! Uhhh... Carter, take this!!
  • I need one too!
  • So I drove up to Dallas to visit my family, and (more importantly) to visit the kitty I adopted since I haven't seen her in like 2 months since I dropped her off at my parent's house.... and she doesn't even recognize me. Straight up ran away from me and doesn't want anything to do with me. Nooo memory that she used to…
  • Sorry Bruce!!! I was visiting Eric's older sister and was meeting her year old baby that I'd never met before. It was a weird situation for me and I couldn't answer any drunk dials! D: By the way, it is a CUTE baby... Next time, Bruce, next time.
  • So when I tried to read this last night, I got about a paragraph in and realized I was entirely too stoned to try to analyze it. But hey! I read it now, and I think you did an excellent job on it. I don't remember having to write any significant papers in high school, and I can tell you without a doubt, this is far better…
  • Huh. I'm actually pleasantly surprised!

  • That's the first movie you've seen 3D? Man. I've had to pay extra for quite a few movies in 3D, it's still ridiculous. And, obviously, no one being taken up during the Rapture just means that no one was worthy of being saved. The zombie apocalypse is still coming!
  • I haven't graduated yet :( And with the way it looks, I'm thinking I'm gonna graduate in another 2 years, making me a super senior. Oh well.

  • Ryan: The TA tooootally did that for my first essay of the semester. The first two pages were completely covered in comments either saying "vague" or "passive voice", and the last two pages were untouched. I was pissed. When I went to go confront him about why my grade was low (I got an 80, I felt it should have been…
  • What a beautiful story!
  • I can recall the first time I was ever so sleep deprived that I couldn't focus my eyes on a page. I had just gotten off a plane landing in LA from Sydney Australia, and I was jet-lagged like CRAZY. I was reading Harry Potter in the airport during the layover, and I couldn't see the words on the page because it took sooo…
  • Hey, I've been having pretty crazy dreams lately! In the past week I had a dream that I was a rent-a-cop with Greg and we were going to arrest some guy who had a bunch of drug charges on him or something, and Greg ended up getting stabbed a bunch. :/ It was a pretty awful. My younger brother and I were driving my mom's…
  • Gah, I gotta admit... sleep deprivation did me in for this one. Turns out there IS a limit to how little I can sleep and still get stuff done. I made it through the exam, thought I did EXCELLENT on it, and headed over to the library to start working on the essay. I was researching sources and analyzing the textbooks for a…
  • Goodness. Tanya, are you pregnant? Congrats if you are!
  • Austinites are so cute- they think that a drive that takes you longer than 10 minutes to get anywhere (besides when you're on the highway-- god forbid you take the highway) then it's SUUUPER far away. I gotta say though, I still like driving way further to get anywhere when I'm in Dallas better than driving a short…
  • Tonight's the night! I have yet to get any substantial work done on that paper, and my hardest final is in about an hour. I got roughly 3 hours of sleep on Wednesday night, and it's all that I'm currently running on. I wish I had done some more research for the essay, but this final seriously takes top priority; it's 50%…
  • That's what makes it so horrible! I'm having to analyze at least 7 different math text books from a total of 3 different time periods since the American Civil War, talk about the significant changes between the books and how the culture and history in America affected the changes, and make some broad generalization to why…
  • I don't know if I've ever felt so unmotivated to finish a paper in my life. I've had the prompt for around a month at this point, it's gonna take a good amount of time to get the research and writing done, and it's due by midnight Friday night. I've been putting it off for so long, and at this point I'm spending more time…
  • It's alright, Jakey, I still love you. Send me a text sometime, I miss 'em and it's always a joy hearing from you.

  • Austin is pretty bike friendly; there are bike lanes all around the city, and all the buses have bike racks that are usually filled up at any given time. Greg bought a bike and started taking the bus to save on gas, but I like driving too much. I honestly have nothing against public transportation-- I absolutely loved…
