Sure, it doesn't seem as fucked up when it follows articles about kids finding their murdered parents or Cambodia's sex industry, but it is fucked up that our tax system is essentially preventing most Americans from getting to experience a once in a lifetime event. Getting taxed for receiving something tangible, like…

Smarterchild will hold a grudge for a long time. I once yelled at him for something way back many years ago, and he refused to talk about anything else until I apologized. Becoming bored with it, I just took it off my buddy list. About six months later, some friends mentioned Smarterchild, so I thought I'd try it again.…

I'll just tack this game onto my long list of games that I can't currently afford/don't have time to play. Then, whenever I finally buy, play, and beat it, you can all yell at me for being behind the times.

Just make sure you're all careful here!

You haven't been around for a while, Apathy. That's quite the messy room, and quite the red Xbox. You have a lot of games too. And, nice Cartman.

Wow. It has been. Oh the times we've had.
-
Ohh, I get it now. How interesting.

Actually, if you spend a total of thirty consecutive hours racing with one car over and over again, hitting every banana you can find, your car will become able to drive over them without slipping. Try it.

I love Penn and Teller, but I wish they'd show some of their sources, especially on some of their larger points.

Word on the street is that Mario Kart 64 will be up next Monday on VC. If you don't buy it, you are a sinner, sodomizer, and you probably support terrorism.

Downloaded! It's so nice to see that glowing blue tray when you wake up in the morning. I'm impressed with the news channel. It seems quite comprehensive, although I only had a minute or two to look at it.

!!!, your sound system looks awesome. What time zones are your clocks set to? And mjc, what is that under your PS2, I can't tell.

If we are to invent SCIENCEium, we should first define its properties. What shall they be?

Actually, I've owned it twice. I sold my SNES version a long time ago (Believe me, I regret it, I was naive), but I have the GBA port in my desk. The VC console was an impulse buy. As I've said before, Nintendo is very good at making you buy stuff over and over again.

There were other messiahs besides Jesus around that time frame. There was one who even had the ability to walk through walls. It was like Thessolonius or something, I can't remember offhand, and I sure as hell can't spell it.

I second Khan, this thread should be stickied in the name of SCIENCE!

Yes! That's why I named it "gaming stations" and not "Serephel and Illithid's room." Post away! Show off your stuff!
-
That's exactly my point. It's more rewarding when you can finally access stuff that is normally difficult. Hey, school is cancelled Friday, I can finally get into that store! It would be poor game planning if you needed to advance the game through specific times of day, but you don't. It's simply optional. To each his own,…

The white PS2 is a Japanese one. I got it in Japan so I could continue to play my Japanese bought games here in the States.

Midnight or so. I have to wake up at 7:30 every morning, so I can't stay up too late, or I fall asleep in class or at work.
