They were actually planning to replace Ness with Lucas in Melee, but Earthbound 64 was cancelled, so they kept Ness in last-minute. I think it was Melee... it might've been the original, since it was on the N64. Yeah, Ness was never meant to be in Smash Bros at all.

Your font distracts me... the space after every o and e is longer than that for other letters. I don't know why, but it's making it hard for me to concentrate for some reason.
