Basically. Day 23: Painfully bright jigglypuff.
-
Day 22: Instead of drawing one good eevee, I drew 14 kinda bad ones. Then I made them move! I didn't do any planning for this, I just kinda drew one eevee and then one slightly different eevee and so on. Considering that, I'd say it worked out pretty well.

It got me in the mood to play more Pokemon as well. Managed to kick Animal Crossing out of my 3DS, it's been in there mostly nonstop since the launch date last summer. Now I'm finally making decent progress through Pokemon X, and I've also revisited my save file on HeartGold for the regular DS. In that game, due to a lot…

Day 21: Nidorina. If the proportions seem off, it's because I drew 80% of the thing before making a final decision on whether or not it should be a rattata. Here's the in-progress version:
-
Day 20: After surviving Wallmaster and Floormaster, Link faces his next adversary: Stairmaster. Holy crap I had a hard time drawing tonight.
-
I think that's probably intentional style choice. Andrew Hussie is a very good artist when he tries to be.
-
Day 19: I haven't drawn my weasel character in a long time. As one of the few things I regularly draw that isn't a pokemon, he needs to make an appearance once in awhile. I'm working on giving more of my creatures four fingers instead of three. It can be tough to practice because I can never think of anything for them to…

My parents are on vacation right now and I'm taking care of the house and pets, along with my brother who has his girlfriend staying with us, so I haven't had a ton of drawing time. I'll make up for it by doing multiple-drawing days or extending into March. EDIT: I'ma just push the last ten days to March 1st-10th. If I…

Day 18: Just an eevee. I wanted to get to bed on time for once. Actually, I'm surprised I got this far into the month without playing the Eevee card.
-
I was trying to just draw things off the top of my head without any real planning, so there are some inconsistencies. It wasn't until I got near the bottom of the image that I started thinking about the way some things should turn out. I couldn't think of what I wanted, so I started by drawing a couple shapes that ended up…

Day 17: Playing with shapes.

I missed Friday and Saturday as they were a bit hectic, but I made up for it by drawing three pictures today. You can tell these are three different pictures, and not one big picture, because I used a different technique for each one. Vaporeon: Vectors, borderless Jolteon: Vectors, varied stroke width Flareon: Freehand…

Day 13: Baseball kid.
-
Day 12: I waited too long to start, so here's a dumb guy in a snowstorm.
-
Day 11: Pickup truck. As usual, shading style is inconsistent across the drawing. I'm just trying different things out.
-
Day 10: "Literal Mini-Mart", or "Animals Make Poor Business Decisions". Judging by the expressions, this was the raccoon's idea. Tonight was one of those nights where "what my brain is saying" and "what my wrist is doing" tended to be completely different things. It was a battle against Photoshop to make the drawing look…

Day 9: This is the dinaroo, a species I made up in the margins of my high school notebooks to act as an enemy for a ninja character I was also drawing a lot at the time. They’re, uh… more agile than they look. And like some Mario and EarthBound enemies, every one you see will be wearing sunglasses.
-
You should make every effort, as it was great.
-
Day 8: I’ve got a bunch of unopened Lego sets that I’ve been holding off on playing with until I have a place where I can safely have them all set up at the same time. But after seeing The Lego Movie tonight, I was forced to build a set.
-
Day 7: Cyndaquil.
-
When I signed up it was called Information Technology: New Media, but apparently there are some constraints on where you can use the phrase "Information Technology" in a degree name, so they changed it to "New Media: Web and Games". But a bunch of the whinier students complained that it didn't sound professional enough, so…

Not having to take calculus was a significant factor in my college major decision.
-
Day 6: Bedazzled Bowser
-
Day 5: I drew a squirrel and then added a bunch of swirly things and stripes and crap.
-
Day 4: Rabbit Accessorizing
-
Daily Draw February ‘14, Day 3: I spent too much time watching internet videos tonight, and now there isn’t enough left to plan out a good drawing! Time to whip out my old standby strategy: Scribbling aimlessly until a good picture appears. I see a picture. Do you see a picture? It’s Steel-toe Baggypants McGee striking the…

Sorry Mario, I didn't do an hourly comic. I'm bringing back Daily Draw February instead! February 1st: Some character that's been in my head awhile that I never got around to drawing. She doesn't hold any position of authority, she's just a Beatles fan. February 2nd: I don't think I've drawn a yoshi in a long time. Here's…

Holy crap, the new pony episode has Weird Al? Holy crap, Mario makes multiple joke Twitter accounts in a day?
-
Man, the Orange Belt is old. I just went back and fixed a broken link on a picture I drew eight years ago.
-
I like how you had the patience to draw five fingers on each hand, but not enough to color any of them in.
