Well, right now I hate you because you're making me look stupid. ^__^
-
Man, I feel like suck that I'm reading this thread after he's already left. Uh, bon voyage, Serephel, if you manage to read this site ever again.
-
In a nutshell, the yarn wraps around itself in a different pattern to create fabric. More obviously, you crochet with a single hook, whereas you knit with two needles.
-
Damn, I'm stumbling across a lot of game crochet lately. This one's a crocheted pillow depicting Breakout. http://crochetme.com/blog/crocheted-breakout. :hulk:

Hlavco, LOL at that graphic.

I'm a day late, and I can't beat Sooty. Happy belated Elvis' Birthday Also, Jeff.
-
Dude, I like everyone on this thread better for just posting near the Aquabats.
-
Hey, now, Hammy, there are a lot of poor kids in this house who want Rock Band very, very much.
-
I spent Christmas eve hiking and swimming at a hot springs resort, and then on Christmas I spent all day cooking the world's most awesome meatless mince pie. Probably the best Christmas ever. ^__^ Now I get to go back to studying. Happy Boxing Day!

It's awesome. I wish I'd written this one.

Generally, leather/suede sewing requires an industrial machine or at least a 'heavy duty" machine. Sewing machines in Wal-Mart/Target won't cut it. If you have a worthwhile Sew & Vac nearby, they might be able to help you figure out the right machine. Alternately, there are always ones for sale on eBay and I bet you could…
-
Second the last bit. But I'm glad you figured it out!

How does a space education compare to an earth education? Both in quality and in tuition. Do you pay for space college in space bucks?
-
They made a Sim Ant, and sim bee could be pretty fucking awesome.
-
Are these fake? OMG, no fair. I want to play Thousands of Bees and A Single Bee so hardcore.
-
Hey, Nato, I'm confused. I looked at both the Agents site and the referenced Coda site, and I can't figure out what effect this is supposed to represent. Did you implement it yet? Am I just incredibly website-illiterate tonight?
-
Because people entered them without realizing that an entry already existed. And you'll notice Geoff's 'deleting emails' chore came with no XP.
-
I'm going to go un-apprentice everyone right now, and then you should be able to add new chores. They're still adding features to Chore Wars, and for some reason the result of this is that people start out default as 'apprentice'. If the chores you add are not really chores, they're going to get deleted like those other…

And right across the street from In-n-Out is Murder Burger! Then we'll go see the Corpse Flower! Seriously this is going to be awesome.
-
Might I suggest the scenic UC located in Davis, a convenient 30 minutes from the state's capital? It has a corpse flower and some domes and stuff.

He pretty much just did. ETA: I'd like to back Serephel up on his last post with a concept from the enjoyable psychology (not self-help) book Stumbling On Happiness. In general, we tend to regret things that we *didn't* do more than we regret things that we did do. ETA Again: But that citation is not intended to supercede…

So what are you going to do next? Personally, I no longer have no idea what happens when a person is finished school.
-
Damn, awesome! Congratulations!
-
Oh yeah! I should have been able to figure that out. Sorry.
-
Done. Who is Garroteman? Who is Stevie? P.S.: I don't care how Garroteman is supposed to be pronounced. It'll always rhyme with Karateman to me.
-
Woo! I am inexplicably a paladin now! Take that, bards!
-
No, I was saying that we could pretty much just do it on our own, since we define the chores. We could set up an Orange Belt Schoolwork group and a comics group along with the straight up chores group.
-
Along the lines of this, I've been thinking that it would be cool if we had secondary chore wars groups. Like, comics can not count as a chore. BUT if there was a chore wars group for just comics and drawing tasks, it could function independently without skewing the score of actual chore xp. Same for a schoolwork group.
-
Heh, I don't quite do 40 hours a week. That is a lot!
-
I'd give you a run for your money, Lore.
