Sometime in December, I think. But I've read that they're going to eliminate the Church in the first movie, so as not to offend Christians. And I may be wrong, but I don't see how they're going to make all three movies, have them bear even a passing resemblance to the books, and not offend Christians.
Well, The Hitchhiker's Guide differed from incarnation to incarnation. As long as the title and the towels are the same, I don't forsee any complications.
Well, even though I really really like it when adaptations follow word for word and image for image, I can respect a movie that deviates from the book but still manages to tell a good story. Perfume is a good example of that.
Stardust, on the other hand, is an example of a movie that deviated from the book in a truly horrible way, taking a beautiful piece of writing and turning it into trite Hollywood crap.
Have you tried using a proxy or something to get around the government blocks?
I suppose if I really wanted to, I could have had some friends back in the US help me do something like that, but I was only there for five weeks. I didn't think it was necessary. It did come to mind, though.
However, is 24 is any indicator of real life (which it is), I could have been thrown in a secret prison in some far outreach for over two years. Figured it wasn't worth it.
