Pokemon Trading Figure Game?

edited October 2007 in Games
I've been hearing about this for awhile, but never really saw anything about it. But today I was at the arcade, and since they were running low on one dollar bills, I had to venture next door to the anime store and get singles there. And that's when I saw it. I had to buy some mostly for the fact that they're awesome Pokemon figures, but the store owner assured me the game is actually really fun as well.

Here's my collection:

figures.JPG

-Scyther doing some sort of dance.

-Chimchar being a stupid new-gen Pokemon, but at least it's a promo figure.

-Eevee showing the intense rage characteristic of the species.

-Zangoose giving some gang signs.

-Nidoran in the same pose that Nidorans are always in, on cards, figures, and Burger King toys.

I went online to see how you actually play the game, and it seems pretty simple. Though I can't really explain it. It's sort of like a board game... the object is to get one of you Pokemon to the finish. Certain Pokemon can move further in a turn than others, and if you wind up next to an enemy Pokemon, you can battle. The loser has to go back to their Pokemon Center.

Apparently Nidoran can poison Pokemon, but I haven't figured out what that does yet.

There's about 42 figures in Series 1 (not counting the Diamond/Pearl promo figures), but I've actually got most of the ones I like already. Maybe I'll wait for Series 2... unless I see the Raichu. They're cool.

Dude, you're breaking the forum with you CRAZY IMAGE.

Neat tho, the Eevee looks like it just scaled a tall mountain and is standing triumphantly at the peak.
