edited November 2007 in Comics
I've been rereading StV archives (room931.com) and boy-howdy is it bringing back memories.

I remember being cheated out of a Spelling origin story via the worst deux ex machina ever.

Only Elliott could make a story where deus ex machina could be used as an offensive weapon: A Train Laser.

    Gasp-a-roo!

EDIT: I remember redaing through the archives for the first time while in class (on a laptop) and the person next to me peeked over and read a random panel and broke out laughing.

I used one of his panels in a brief report in one of my linguistics classes, and the professor highlighted it in appreciation. I got many smiley faces on that paper.

Was it the "Your in hell" panel?

I've never used StV for anything other than my own amusement, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading through it.

StV was my first webcomic, so it'll always have a special place in my heart.

It was my second. I didn't know webcomics existed until Zelda Comic showed up in the Google.

StV was my 2nd webcomic as well, I found it through 8-Bit Theater, and I'm very glad I did.

Haha! I once used a clip from issue 128 in a paper along with a Penny Arcade comic.

I HAVE ALL MY FAVORITE OLD COMICS SAVED TO MY COMPUTER BECAUSE SOMETIMES THINGS ON THE INTERNET ARE FLEETING.

THEY ARE IN NIFTY .CBR FILES, SO I CAN READ THEM WITH CDISPLAY.
