Ultimate 1000 Blank White Cards!

edited March 2006 in Games
I went through my stack of cards, Marcus and I winnowed out all the crappy ones, we ended up throwing away about two thirds of the whole set, leaving a nice stack of, I'd estimate... 250 cards or so.

METHOD EDIT:
So, I'm scanning my favorites! Behold! These were normal sized index cards scanned at 300 DPI in color (greyscale seems to lose some detail I've found). I used the magic wand tool at 25 tolerance to select the white area and used the selection tool to try to get any other smudges and delete them all. Then, Image > Levels, and drag the middle arrow over to the right until the lines look acceptable. Then I reduced the image size to 20% and copied each card into a 200x300 file. That's the quickest way to get good quality and consistant size I found, if anyone else is scanning theirs in.

That zip is the directions I made for printing for anyone who's unfamiliar. It was too big to attach, but the zip filesize limit is bigger.

I loved the Bengal tiger one.
Although they only live in Asia and you don't get gazelle in Asia I think. But that does not make it less fun. Because if then they would stalk blank through the blank.

    Yeah.

I have to admit, my favorite ones are a little biased towards the ones I drew.

That appears to be the most awesome game I've ever seen. Like munchkin only better.

Me and a friend modified it into a drinking game a couple of years ago. It was crazy fun... I'll try to find some of the cards we came up with.

I think I need to explain this one, see, it's my house rule that you have to read a card out loud when it is played on you. Casey, Marcus's roommate did this, and I'm glad I had that rule.

More by Casey, the only one among us who can actually draw.

    200th post!

Oh, in the Casey: really doesn't understand this game card, that's Marcus saying Mmmmarcus, we're not really sure why he's saying his own name.

    + 1,000 points, and draw a card

Edit: In response to the long, depressing card above.

There needs to be an inverse-jabba.

    Jibba: -400 points.

Maybe 20 years ago, in a different country...

But no, not anymore. At least, according to the following:

    People's Exhibit One

    People's Exhibit Two

Also, I'd like to state that the British need to use more Z's, use less P's, and learn that "blood pudding" is a really gross name for any kind of food.

But it is indicative of the food's ingredients.
  • edited March 2006
Actually I've always spelt it Hamster.

And dictionary.com would have it in there as "chiefly British" if it was spelt with the p.
  • edited March 2006
Good god, it's actually spelled "hampster" occasionally? That just killed my entire line.

I'm humming that stupid song without even clicking on that link.

I do not play! Can I make cards anyway?
  • edited March 2006
Get some friends and play! Seriously! They'll be so much better that way.

The cards really are a spur of the moment sort of creation. Play with friends and love the game forever.

I should be able to scrounge up our cards from last year's ConnectiCon in a few days and scan 'em in.
