Super Mario Fusion: Mushroom Kingdom Hearts

Somebody's making some hilariously awesome game called Super Mario Fusion: Mushroom Kingdom Hearts.

Basically, these weird interdimensional rifts have been opened between different game universes, and it's up to Mario to save them. He travels through the worlds of Halo and Mega Man in the youtube video. It's incomplete as of now, I guess, but there is a demo for download.

    I seem to remember someone (Agent Cel?) posting a kingdom hearts game where mario replaced Final Fantasy characters, but that turned out to be an april fools joke.

    Edit: But, yeah. That looks to be epic.

    This game needs a Sonic level with a high speed powerup, otherwise it'll just be lacking.

    I really suck at playing it on the keyboard, I kept dying. I need a game pad or something.

    I have 3 gamepads. One has a rumble feature that is unsupported by anything I own and is in tough shape. One has a fan in it that serves no real purpose and has a non-critical button that doesn't work. That one is otherwise pretty good. And I got a cheap playstation controller rip-off that has served me well for some time despite a somewhat poor d-pad design. I think Nintendo has a patent on their d-pad or something because they are the only ones who actually got the d-pad thing right. I need to get an adapter to hook snes controllers to my PC. That would be sweet. Or maybe better yet a classic wii controller adapter thing.

    I need to play this when I get home.

    I can run this in wine but it don't scale the windows up to the size of the screen. I get a tiny game window in the upper left corner of my screen surrounded by black.

    I'm sucking at this. Does anyone else find the fireballs from the pirhanna plants in level one to be far too aggrivating? Unless they're fired at a really steep angle, they stay on the screen for about five minutes.
