Yar! (again)

Is anyone still playing Gunbound?

If no-one is I think it's high time for a revival of For SCIENCE!

You know it's the goodness. Even better for being free.

I picked it up again a few months ago, but haven't booted back into Windows for some time now. No one else was playing! Plus I couldn't use my old character, so I was back at square one and guildless. It was very sad.

I'm thinking Sunday will be all about re-setting up for me then.

The guild should still be in existence, it was about 4 months ago when I had a day of poking around internetally.

EDIT: Guild is still there but apparently it has members numbering all of one: Me.

So let's either dig up old accounts or re-sign up and get some games happening. I need to get my fix of bizarre Korean laser death back.

    Sounds good to me.

Damn it all, my anti-virus software won't let me play Gunbound. It keeps screaming at me, telling it's a Trojan virus or somesuch.

    :hulk:

Most antivirus software has the ability to control what apps are kosher. At least, good antivirus software.

    I have AVG Free.

I don't know anything about antivirus software.

Ok, Gunbound is downloaded and running on my computer.

The general Gunbound population is still retarded/cheating/quit as soon as it look like they'll lose. But it does still run.

Everyone bend to my will and download and start playing again.

    Hammy, dual-boot.

Jakey, live the care-free existence of somebody with disabled anti-virus software.

People with Macs, go buy PCs. And no that is not an invitation to start the Mac/PC debate.

    People with Intel Macs: dual-boot.

    No.

Uh... people with Intel Macs: dual-boot, or run Windows in a virtualized environment?

Or be forever denied the nirvana that is raining boogery death on your enemies from a giant frog.

Meh, Gunbound just never really did it for me. Maybe that's because I suck donkey balls at it... Yes, I think that might be why.

Plus my Windows partition is pretty full atm anyway. If I have to choose between gunbound or San Andreas, well San Andreas always wins.

I'm a little concerned that this Gunbound call to arms is coming at the eve of another game that we might all find a little distracting. But I'll certainly play Gunbound more than I have been, since I know other compadres will potentially be around.

I still haven't beat Mario Galaxy from Christmas. I haven't even glanced at Twilight Princess. Smash Bros is coming out soon. I've got a beta account for Mythos that's being hopelessly ignored. All this and I'm trying to figure out how to make time to work on an unreal tournament mod project with some other people. I'd love to try gunbound out, but I'm so far behind on gaming it's not even funny.

I will try to navigate around the Firewall and download it, although I can probably only play with people on weekends. I couldn't reach the US site, but the nonregional international site seems to work.

Mario, that's the beauty of Gunbound. The average game can last about 3 minutes.

It's a good thing to play in random down times etc.

And if you can't juggle more than one game at once, what's the point of living?
