Comics learnin'

Okay. We all like comics, right?

The question is (oh, hey guys, it's been a while) do we want to set up some comics learnin' lessons.

I'm interested in doing group learning exercises on this subject and was wondering if any of y'all were also interested in doing some comics broadening.

Possible subjects that we could explore would include things like panel and word balloon usage, along with Internet Comics Format and Print Comics formats.

My idea is basically that we'd set up a subject, each do a bit of research on it and then discuss our findings.

And, also, um, Hi, it's been a while!

    The interest seems to be here so now all we need to do is arrange a time for the lot of us to convene.

    My Thursdays and Fridays are usually free in the mid-west American evening, so I'm going to say Thursday night around 8:00 to 10:00 (CDT) in an AIM chatroom would suffice for the more intricate explorations.

    Topics would be announced in separate threads in this forum, if that abides with admin.

    You just managed to pick one of the days that I actually work.

    I smell conspiracy!

    Fridays are good for me though.

    We can do a Thursdays and Fridays thing, I'm not looking to do anything too official, other than explore specific topics and what-have-you.
