    March 14th = 3/14. As in, 3.14.

    I think the joke only works in the United States, since many countries display a date as day/month. And there's no fourteenth month.

    Someone told me the other day that the true math nerds won't eat their pie until 1:59PM.

    Because that sounds like a good basis for a 'how many pies can you eat in one minute' competition.

    I'm gonna do my part to reduce this forum's carbon footprint by merging with the previous Pi Day thread. That doesn't actually make any sense, but it does mean that I am now the starter of this conversation!
