So, rumoured concept art of a rumoured wii Kid Icarus rumoured to be developed by Factor 5. The rumoured plot? That Pit is a fallen angel due to a crime.

    NO! No, no, no, no, NO! Pit's origin is not up for re-interpretation. He is a little Greek dude with wax wings. He is not an angel. The goddammed game title is "Kid Icarus".

    Those are just concept art, they have a lot of other pictures that they've drawn that don't look anything like that. I have full confidence that the final art will look fine.

    This might have something to do with the fact that I've never played Kid Icarus, but I kinda like the first picture that Night Lord posted. A lot better than the second picture. The second picture looks like He-Man or something.

    I'd be fine with them making him more adult just as long as they don't make him more dark for no reason.

    But... Pit is an angel in the NES game's origin story. The Icarus of Greek mythology is someone else entirely and has nothing to do with Pit.

    But the game is clearly influence by ancient greek mythology, and angels are a Christian element borrowed from Jews.
