The website hasn't been updated to include the trailer yet (actually it hasn't been updated in years), but for more Sockbaby goodness, check out. http://www.sockbaby.com/
Haha, I went and rewatched the first 3 episodes (simultaneously introducing the trilogy to my brother), and they're still as awesome as the first time I watched them. Jon Heder's in Sockbaby 4? He wasn't in the others, he possibly saw them online and said "I want to be a part of these."
That will be interesting, I hope it isn't JUST a trailer and it actually is going to become a full length episode. Those underwater battle scenes look pretty intense.
Sockbaby 4 will be released at Comicon on Sunday July 27 at 2:45 in Hall 6-A at its own Panel. You'll get to see the entire original series, a panel featuring Doug TenNapel, Justin Spurlock, Dan and Jon Heder and John Soares, then finally, SOCKBABY 4!
We will be announcing how you can get your hands on SB4 yourself at the Panel.
Amazing!! Excellent cameo from Doug Jones. Man he was creepy in Pan's Labyrinth.
Here's hoping more episodes are forthcoming. But out of curiosity, why is the series still called Sockbaby, when the eponymous Sockbaby went home at the end of the third episode?
Well, what else are they gonna call it? Are they suddenly gonna change the name to "The Misadventures of Ronnie Cordova?" The Sockbaby was a major plot device, and he may be in some episodes sometime in the future!
It was cool, but I think they should've given at least some setup for why the scubapeople were attacking Ronnie. I mean, this series has never been heavy on plot, but the first one at least gave a couple of lines to indicate that the Greys were after Sockbaby.
The actual fight and the stuff after it were cool, though. "You didn't kill my master, you killed my master's clone!"
It wasn't explicit, but the Scubas were the dominant ethnicity in the neighborhood that Ronnie moved into. See when the neighborly Scuba asks the other guys if they want help, then gets impaled, and his son shows up. However, the Scubas are cowardly and needed the promised support of Doug Jones before they would attack to drive Ronnie out of their neighborhood and away from their wimmins. Of course we know that Doug Jones was only using them to get close to Ronnie, but the Scubas were too blinded by hate to see that.

I dunno, it's still got Burger and Ronnie Cordova.
