I don't know, something about the look in her eyes just screamed "delusional paranoia."

I got this off the ModernTales list -- it seems Jen Contino hungers for fresh content for the Pulse. Might be a great way to get a well-deserved boost to your readership!
Jen Contino has asked me to help her gather content for a new daily
feature on webcomics for comicon pulse.

    Here's what she needs:

-- 8 sample pages or strips.

-- A text piece to go along with the pages, from the creator(s) of the
comic. It can be anything you want, pretty much -- a how-to, a plot
summary of the comic, an "artist's notes" thing where you talk about
your motivations -- in other words, you can (and should) touch on
technical, narrative, and personal information about the comic, about
yourself, about your motivations for putting it online, the kind of
response you've received, the kind of response you'd like to receive,
    and so on.

She will post the text, along with the sample strips, on comicon.com,
a very popular website for people who read comic books. A new feature
    will be posted every day.

This does NOT HAVE to be about your modern tales family comic. It can
be about any webcomic you make.

Send your narrative and your 8 sample pages or strips to:

    Jon: AUGHH! THE PUN!

Amoeba Boy: Well played. Yes, she is too short. It was a mistake-- the original drawing of her had her leaning on the countertop, and I forgot to put her back to her standing height when I nixed the leaning.

    Nato, thanks for the tip.

No Stef, you should appreciate it.

My remix teaches the moral that puns can result in painful tongue-ripping incidents and should be avoided.

The coffee shop made me think of an old western saloon for some reason. Hence:

I thought it looked like she had been bending over to get something she dropped on the floor. Her face looks like she just got caught doing something she wasn’t supposed to do or saw someone she didn’t expect/want to see.

Even though I kinda suck at it.

If I already have a goatee, then what would the alternate me have? Would his goatee have a goatee? Or does a goatee make me the alternate?

    ...heheh. Sideburns.

    Awesome on all counts.

Also, Jon's signature thing is cool.

    Avant Garde, it is*

    * Not really.

Unless you actually have leprosy. Lepers don't like being called lepers, have I already mentioned this?

I was talking about the "Freaky Jon" thing that he "signed" his recent remixes with.

I just wanted to say that I am akin to any barista who has to deal with people trying to kid themselves by ordering sugar-free lattes with skim milk.
