It's official. I have the best gaming setup

edited June 2008 in Games
Yes, it is true. No matter what your gaming setup is like, mine is better. The reason being that I have the following all hooked up to one TV:

N64
Wii
Xbox 360
Dreamcast
Commodore 64
Sega Master System

Not shown in the photos is the PS1 and PS2 which are plugged into the downstairs TV due to lack of room.

I also have the NES, but I need to get a set of new controllers for it first.

Looks cluttered. Also, that picture really highlights how massive the 360 is; it looks like it could fall over and crush all the others.

You beat me. I used to have my PS2, Gamecube, 360, and N64 all hooked up to my TV, but yours took the cake, and enjoyed it too!

mario: It's smaller than the original one, which isn't hard. Plus you should see the power brick :|

Hahaha, I just realized, you have the same exact crappy amp that I have. My girlfriend got me a new one, though, even though I use it whenever someone else needs to use my new amp.

Well, it is cluttered, but only because there's a lot of extra stuff there, like cleaning supplies. It could be made to look pristine with TLC and perhaps a backdrop behind the shelving to hide all the cords. That would be easy to do, just staple or nail or tack a cloth to the back, cut some holes for cords, and there you go.

EDIT: Also, this brings back memories! I remember that a gaming setup thread was what got me into the belt, when Ryan showed everyone our awesome gaming setup when we were roommates. Two Wiis, an American PS2, a Japanese PS2, Xbox... man, that was sweet. Good times.

    I got 2 tv's with:
    1) Wii
    2) N64
    3) Xbox 360
    4) TWO Sega Genesis
    5) Gamecube (not actually plugged in seeing as the Wii plays gamecube games)

We also have two computers in the corners.

If my digital camera didn't suck so much, I'd upload some pictures. Its a pretty sweet room.

We've just got a 360, a Wii, and my softmodded PS2. The 37" LCD is nice though.

I have a small, crappy HD TV (turns out "crappy HD" is not an oxymoron) to which I have hooked my Wii and SNES. There is also a satellite TV reciever, naturally. Additionally I have my computer here that I am typing at. It sees more use for gaming than the others, so I would consider it my real gaming setup. I will likely build a new PC sometime in the future. I will spend 3 or 4 times as much as necessary on it.

I need a new machine. Do you know how awkward my current "gaming pc" is? I need to tweak settings every time I wanna play a game. Settings which worked fine one day, do not work the next on the exact same game ¬_¬

You know, they open-sourced Descent II a few years back and now there's a new version that's all high-resolution and 3D-accelerated and running-on-computers-built-in-the-last-decade and stuff.
