Dang people! Get a better server or write some SQL queries that don't suck!
For example, with World of Warcraft, I didn't even pay for the game. The PC market is huge, but it's operates differently because of the economy. With wow, I paid for the account, which was about 5 bucks. The game download was free (although it sure took a while). It also operates on an hourly basis, and for abot 4 bucks or so you get 4000 minutes of gametime.
A lot of PC games operate this way, and combined with general piracy of older games, they can be harder to track on a global scale.
I know little about piracy in South Korea, but good god look at the dedication to Starcraft.
I didn't realize how freaking popular that was. Every time I made a reference to going out to buy it, it was always very sarcastic.
Also the whole "Hacker Thing" explains the sad lack of Lode Runner. Tisk.
