I actually find that product extremely racially offensive. If you look closely in the lettering you can see a watermark of "KKK". For real. I think this is why America is going downhill, we just can't stop thinking that white people are superior to black people. I hope to God allknowing that the evil German company formally apologizes to our president in person, and offers him compensation in cash. This is unacceptable, and I am truely troubled and upset to think that this kind of racism is allowed on the shelves of a grocery store. In fact, I would like to ask that a forum moderator delete the post, because I do not want this propoganda in my well-rounded community fourums. Just because Armerica is evil and racist doesn't mean we have to be. So please, for the sake of our future, delete that post.
White people and the media freak out when a white guy says something like, "Blacks have an extra muscle that allows them to run faster." That isn't racsist, its just well, true.
Ah, now this is a touchy subject. Racism and biology, specifically genetics, have a weird relation. I forget the name of the book, but there have been studies that concluded that certain populations in Kenya are, biologically, better at running. Is this racist? What if it was something negative? What if we discovered that some population in Africa or Asia were, somehow, genetically not as smart as white people. Can a statement or thought really be racist if it's backed up with scientific studies and facts?
One explaination I've always heard for black people being stronger or better at sports was that slave owners would care more about keeping the stronger ones alive, and even breed them to get the strongest ones. I don't know If that has any scientific backing, or historical as far as the selective breeding goes, but I guess it kind of makes sense.
Yeah I've heard that too. Kind of like natural selection, with more cruelty and whipping. Even though muscles aren't inherited, it might have something to it.
Can a statement or thought really be racist if it's backed up with scientific studies and facts?
This was the exact mindset in early slavery times. Blacks were proven, with SCIENCE! that they were genetically inferior to whites using tests like cranial mapping. This is no new train of thought.
Yes, except they've proven they're just as human as the rest of us. Frankly, if a group was determined to be less intelligent genetically and sufficient evidence was provided I would believe it, but I wouldn't say anything insulting because, though it wouldn't technically be racist, it would have the same effect.
It's alright to say things that are true and insulting, but it's not alright to say things that are insulting, whether it's true or false. Of course this is a completely ideological view of a perfect world where everyone is nice and everyone is rational but even so...
Sickle-cell anemia is a genetic condition found in sub-Saharan populations. Northern Native Americans have better balance and are more prone to inner ear infections due to their inner, ear thingy (I'm not sure why). Many Africans, (such as Kenyans mentioned before) tend to gain springy, elongated muscles from the same exercises that yield bulkier, power muscles in other populations, particularly Northern European and West African. Peoples whose lineage can be traced back to colder climate areas tend to have long narrow noses, they had a genetic advantage over those with wide nostrils because they had more surface area per volume contact with the cold air they inhaled and were less likely to get sick due to lowering their core body temperature from inhaling cold air. Peoples in dry, hot regions need wider noses to get as much of the "thinner" air as possible, since the heat actually causes the air to expand and you get fewer O2 molecules/volume unit of air. The width helps to keep the dry air from making too much contact with your capillaries and causing chapping and infections.
All of these SCIENTIFIC OBSERVATIONS are racist as hell!
Black people smell different than white people when they sweat. One's body odor is determined by diet, and to a small extent genetics as genetics will influence how your body reacts to that diet. people can't eat grass because of their genetics. cows also have a lower potential IQ than most humans. This is a genetic condition. They have an upper limit to their intelligence because of their genes. There has never been any proven correlation between a genetic population and potential intelligence. If every person in a genetic population lives in a shit-hole with no education system, then there's a good chance a survey of these people will show them to have a lower average IQ than other populations. Black people like pork and fried food, Asians like rice, White people like flavorless meat and potatoes. The common food for these various groups was determined years ago by what was available . People learn how to cook what is available to them, after several generations, people still only ever learned how to cook what their parents knew how to cook, and they prefer it as it is what they grew up on.
All these CULTURAL OBSERVATIONS are racist as hell!
I never said it was true, its an urban legend. An LA radio talk show host got fired a while ago, back when my father was 30 or so, for saying that on radio. I think his name was Andy the Greek or something. Snopes doesn't have any info about this, so let's leave it at "urban legend status".

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Tough-guy actor and martial arts expert Chuck Norris sued publisher Penguin on Friday over a book he claims unfairly exploits his famous name, based on a satirical Internet list of "mythical facts" about him.
Penguin published "The Truth About Chuck Norris: 400 facts about the World's Greatest Human" in November. Author Ian Spector and two Web sites he runs to promote the book, including www.truthaboutchuck.com, are also named in the suit.
The book capitalizes on "mythical facts" that have been circulating on the Internet since 2005 that poke fun at Norris' tough-guy image and super-human abilities, the suit said.
It includes such humorous "facts" as "Chuck Norris's tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried" and "Chuck Norris does not sleep. He waits," the suit said, as well as "Chuck Norris can charge a cell phone by rubbing it against his beard."
"Some of the 'facts' in the book are racist, lewd or portray Mr. Norris as engaged in illegal activities," the lawsuit alleges.
Norris, who rose to fame in the 1970s and 1980s as the star of such films as "The Delta Force" and "Missing in Action," says the book's title would mislead readers into thinking the facts were true.
"Defendants have misappropriated and exploited Mr. Norris's name and likeness without authorization for their own commercial profit," said the lawsuit.
The suit, filed in Manhattan federal court, seeks unspecified monetary damages for trademark infringement, unjust enrichment and privacy rights.
Norris, whose real name is Carlos Ray Norris, claims in the suit he is protective of what his name is associated with. He has recently made U.S. headlines for backing Republican presidential candidate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
A spokesman for Penguin, owned by Britain's Pearson, was not immediately available for comment.
He didn't seem to mind when he made that political ad using those same facts. So I'm afraid I just don't buy the part about him being concerned about how his name is used. It seems his concern only shows up when people start making money.
He may have used those facts for his own interest previously, but that still doesn't make it legal for someone else to make money off his image without giving him a piece of the cake or at the very least asking for his permission. It's even worse when you consider that a lot of these facts aren't actually created by the "authors" of the book, but instead by anonymous people on the internet.
Roberto's right. It's his name, and he has a right to it. People weren't really profiting before, because it was just a stupid internet meme, but once someone tries to make real money without his permission, he has legal recourse.
Although the Alphabet of Manliness had a chapter dedicated to Norris, and I don't recall anything happening during that time.
It was still way funnier when it was Vin Diesel. I agree, he absolutely has a right to his name and any profits gained by use of it. But I still think he's a total hypocrite for trying to make it seem like it's about anything but money. If he cared so much about his image being associated with these false facts, he would have denounced them earlier rather than utilizing them for his own ends.

Um, yeah. It's "racist."
The grammar Nazi knows where you post.

...just throwing that out there.
If I remember correctly he was pretty crappy at reading aloud.
Most Chuck Norris jokes suck, but that one makes me chuckle.
