I don't think that's very odd. I've never had to actively find a girl, they always come to me, or go through a third-party to set us up.

I was the one who found my boyfriend, he had very little to do during the courting process. He also had like 2 other girls going after him at the time, so I was the one having to work my butt off. He just had to choose which one he liked best!!

And I was the second choice! Hoorah!!
