Kingdom of loathing

Has anyone else here played, heard of, or otherwise been affiliated with K.o.l.? It's a browser game and the comedic content may be too over the top for some of you, but no harm in asking right?

A lot of us used to play it back in the IS days. I'm still sort of into it, but I'm in a down period right now where I'm not playing at all.

Huh, I thought it was a stretch, interesting.

I like to say I lurked IS, but in reality I probably spent like a hour, tops, doing it.

I used to play it but I found it got stale.

KoL is still around? Awesome! I think I might try my hand at it again.

Sometimes I start playing it, but get bored within a few days. Same with that Urban Dead game.

I'm pretty sure it was IS that got me into KoL in the first place, but I never played it that much. Maybe for a few days at a time, for like... a half hour. But nah... just got boring after a while. Great idea, it would be really fun if I didn't have lots of other stuff to do in the world outside of the internet :)

    Haha
"This Knob Goblin is currently in training to be a chef. He proudly wields his set of Neophyte Tongs, and whistles a happy cooking song as he prepares to beat you senseless."

Bunch of random things in this game =D

I used to play that, AGES ago. I forgot it existed.

Shit, I haven't played KoL in forever. If anyone ever needs any meat, I have over 4,000,000. If you message me on KoL, I'm probably not gonna receive it because I never get on it, so you can PM me or post in this thread. Just so you know, though, my username is Jack_Nocturn. Let's have a little fun, though! Who has the lowest account number? Mine is #531909!

Oh yeah, and if anyone needs a klan, mine is called Nocturnal, and it's mainly used for getting extra meat.

Damn, mine's #990480. And it has a really stupid name, kidney mcbiscuit (shut up, I was in eight grade when I made the account), and would probably just make a new account and transfer all the meat and items if it weren't for my Astral Badger pet. They're worth about 11,000,000 meat right now.

    Dun't worry arbitor. is k.

I don't care about account names, and that one isn't even very bad.

That's better than my name, and I made my account in, like, the 10th grade.

    Hahaha I love this guy.

I wonder how much he really knows... maybe we should make a thread about how to please women, or discussing the lost Greek playwrights, or some similar arcane knowledge.
  • edited October 2008
    That's a capital idea.

Well, you just got me started on this game. Quick question, though, is there any effective way to earn more daily adventures? It seems 40 is too little, and I can only get up to 5 or so extra adventures by drinking booze or eating stuff.

What class are you? Because if you're a Pastamancer/Sauceror, you can make better food the more powerful you get. The same goes for the moxie classes, except it's all about booze for them. I did just ascend, so I have quite a bit of Ronin to go through, but I could try to send you some better food.
