HOPEFULLY NOT ENTIRELY UNEXPECTED. I MAY BE A HOPELESS SLACKER, BUT I HAVEN'T MISSED AN ALL-CAPS DAY YET! THAT'S RIGHT, THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF NOVEMBER HAS FALLEN UPON US ONCE MORE! ACTIVATE THAT CAPS LOCK KEY AND LET IT RIDE THROUGHOUT THE DAY! AS USUAL, IF YOU ARE CHASTISED BY YOUR PEERS AND COWORKERS FOR SENDING CONSTANT OBNOXIOUS ALL-CAPS EMAILS (CHASTISING IS INEVITABLE), FEEL FREE TO CHAT IN THE SAFE HAVEN OF THE ORANGE BELT FORUMS, WHERE MAYBE ONLY A FEW PEOPLE WILL CHASTISE YOU BUT THEY'LL DO IT FOR UNRELATED REASONS PROBABLY.

I DO HOPE I MIGHT BE ABLE TO MAKE SOME COMICS SOON, BUT I CAN'T SAY I'VE BEEN IN A TERRIBLY CREATIVE MINDSET THESE PAST FEW MONTHS. I DID GET A NEW JOB AND A NEW PLACE TO LIVE THOUGH! THESE ARE THINGS WORTHY OF NOTE TO SPRITE COMIC READERS. OF THIS I HAVE NO DOUBT.

SEE YOU AROUND, HOPEFULLY SOONER RATHER THAN LATER!

SO, WHAT IS HE SINGING? i FAIL AT RECOGNIZING MUSIC.

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE A HARD TIME NOT HITTING THE SHIFT KEY AT THE BEGINNING OF THEIR SENTENCES?
  • edited November 2008
ITS YOU OUGHTA KNOW GOD. I HAVE THE POLKA VERSION.

WHOO, I LOVE DIMINUTIVE MEGAMAN. I NEVER THOUGHT I'D SEE HIM AGAIN.
  • edited November 2008
IT'S ONLY "YOU OUGHTA KNOW" IN THE BEGINNING. THERE ARE MANY SONGS REPRESENTED HERE, ONE OF WHICH NO ONE WILL PROBABLY BE ABLE TO FIGURE OUT.
  • edited November 2008
I RECOGNIZE THE BEATLES' 'I WANT YOU (SHE'S SO HEAVY)' AND BRITNEY SPEARS' 'YOU DRIVE ME CRAZY.'

AND THE WAR SONG. WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR, AND ALL THAT JAZZ.

I AM ALSO FINDING IT HARD NOT THE PRESS SHIFT AT THE BEGINNING OF SENTENCES AND WHEN I TYPE I. FOR SOME REASON PRESSING SHIFT WON'T MAKE IT LOWER CASE THOUGH... I COULDA SWORN PRESSING SHIFT IN CAPS LOCK WOULD MAKE SOMETHING LOWER-CASE. GUESS I WAS WRONG! THAT OR MY KEYBOARD IS A LITTLE OFF! GOOD THINK CAPS-LOCK IS PRETTY MUCH THE MOST WORTHLESS KEY ON THE KEYBOARD. FOR ME.

I THOUGHT FOR SURE WE WERE GONNA GET RICK ROLLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT COMIC.

THIS IS A PROBLEM I'M SUPPOSED TO WRITE AN ESSAY TODAY AND TURN IT IN TOMORROW FIRST THING HOW'M I GONNA DO THAT?
  • edited November 2008
YOU COULD ALWAYS WAIT TIL AFTER MIDNIGHT TO BE LEGIT, OR JUST DO WHAT I DID AND BE SINFUL AND ACTUALLY BREAK THE ALL CAPS DAY LAW FOR AN ESSAY. IN MY DEFENSE, MY PAPER WAS DUE AT 5:00 TODAY, BUT... THE ALL CAPS DAY GODS ARE STILL ANGRY WITH ME.

I THINK THE BEST SOLUTION IS TO WRITE YOUR ESSAY DOWN IN ALL CAPS WITH PEN AND PAPER, AND THEN AT MIDNIGHT TYPE IT UP ON THE COMPUTER. THAT WAY YOU RE-READ YOUR PAPER TOO AND MAKE SURE THE WHOLE DANG THING MAKES SENSE! WIN-WIN SITUATION, UNLESS YOU DON'T USUALLY STAY UP THAT LATE, IN WHICH CASE YOU'RE NOT ONE OF THE COOL PEOPLES WHO STAY UP TOO LATE EVERY NIGHT.

    YOU MIGHT CONSIDER FIXING THAT.

YOU COULD ALWAYS TYPE IN ALL-CAPS, BECAUSE THAT'S THE RULE.
  • edited November 2008
I HAD TROUBLE LOGGING IN THIS TIME BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T ACCEPT MY PASSWORD IN ALL CAPS

    AND NO, U

Simple fix, set your browser to log you in automatically!
  • edited November 2008
Complicated fix, create a Rube Goldberg logging-in machine.
  • edited November 2008
I'll leave that to you. A nomal Rube Goldberg is hard enough to create. Remember the game Mouse trap?

    What a pleasant surprise! :D

    Congrats on the new job.

    I second that congratulations!

    I always miss All-Caps Day. D:

    I'm such a horrible person. :(
  • edited November 2008
I believe Wikipedia thinks All-Caps Day is tomorrow. Do we celebrate it twice?
  • edited November 2008
There are other holidays beyond our own dedicated to typing with the Caps Lock key, with subtly different names. I believe ours is the only one called "ALL-CAPS DAY" with the dash and the enforced caps (that's right, if you type its name in lowercase, you're spelling it wrong).
  • edited November 2008
Too bad I missed ALL-CAPS DAY, as well.
  • edited November 2008
Awesome! Of course, if you'd posted on Talk Like A Pirate Day, which is clearly higher on the totem pole of Internet Holidays, it would've been ten times awesomer. Any infinite number of monkeys can hit caps lock before writing Shakespeare.

This man is clearly a witch, and a conspirator; burn him.

    I DON'T LIKE CHANGE!

EDIT: Do you think that we accidently ran fleb out of the forums?
  • edited December 2008
I recognise the war song and Who needs sleep? by Barenaked ladies. Also, my password is in capitals, so no problems during ALL-CAPS DAY.
  • edited December 2008
Which you'll have to wait a very long time for.

I KNOW WHAT THE "DAY BY DAYYYYYYYYY" SONG IS! ITS CALLED DAY BY DAY AND ITS FROM GODSPELL. GODSPELL WAS A MUSICAL! HA! By the way, Voltage, I Love Hocky
  • edited December 2008
Apparently not enough to spell it right though. It's "hockey". Anyway, welcome and hide your shoes! I also like classic rock!
  • edited December 2008
I Cant spell Anything Right! I used to spell guitar "gitar". By the way, I love classic rock!:-D
  • edited January 2009
