References to the BRAIN

edited May 2009 in General
Yeah okay so this is completely selfish of me because I want to get extra credit for my Biopsychology class, but I'm wondering if anyone has any pop-culture references to brain structures or functions? The professor was suggesting references found in music would be great, especially if it's funny. Apparently there are several rap songs that make reference to the medulla? But yeah.

Brain functions/bits, as told by The Brain

So far I've only really thought of the character Sara Bellum on the powerpuff girls... even though thats not exactly what she had in mind, I'm pretty sure that would be fine. I'm not a big movie buff and I don't listen to very much music other than classical and I don't watch tv very often, sooo I was wondering if you guys had any ideas for other references?

Oh btw I need these by Friday at 2 :D:D:D:D Love you guys!!!

EDIT I hope my professor or classmates don't end up find this haha

Also, the scene with the medulla oblongata from Waterboy was already shown in class earlier this year, so I can't use it.

    Pinky and the Brain.
The evil floating brains from Futurama.
Krang was pretty much a brain. Or at least he looked like one.

I shall try to think of more whilst I'm slacking off that better fit the criteria.

Deathstroke: the Super Villian who was able to gain superpowers by increasing the amount of his brain used from 10% to 90%.

    He should've been called deathstorke.

These aren't sanctioned for tourney play or anything btw. Just the second 'joke' set MTG has had and I cant afford to get the original set.

Mother Brain! Duh! Also me and my gf have recently started calling each other corpus callosum, but I doubt you can mention that for your class.

Well there was that cartoon where the main character was a brain in a jar on a bear's head.

Awwww that's really cute. If you ever have relationship problems, you can consider your arguments or fights as epileptic seizures!
