Classic games Revisited

edited June 2009 in Games
As probably everyone knows, There's now a Punch Out for Wii and a new Bionic Commando game as well. What video games from the NES and SNES era would you to see revisited? What I mean by revisited is either be remade or have a sequel added. Post away.

Holy shit. I just found out there was a California Games 2. How did I never know about this? I played the hell out of the first one and never knew about the sequel.

Man, CT:Resurrection would've been awesome...Damn you, copyright laws!

Hey, I have...damnit, well I had an original Blaster Master cartridge. I guess my sister has it these days. No doubt it has done little more than collect dust.

Super Mario Bros I/III and Mortal Kombat II/III. I don't see the point to all these 3D wander land games. Give me sidescrolling action any day!

I like this Pickle guy, we should keep him. He is my game genie.

Thats a long title for a SNES game. But some of those Japanese ones do get pretty long.

I played it once, it wasn't that special. But you did get to go to Disney World.

That's why we love you, Jake. It always seemed to me like Magic Kingdom had a couple more attractions than that, though.

They must have been added after 1990 when that god awful game came out

    Which video game is that?

"Adventures in the Magic Kingdom" for the NES

It's not that bad of a game. My 5-year-old nephew enjoys it.

You mean like "Yamamura Misa Suspense - Kyouto Hana no Misshitsu Satsujin Jiken"?

They need to make a new Vigilante 8. They made one on Xbox Live Arcade, but since it was just an arcade game, it wasn't really fleshed out enough. I mean, the Crater Maker combo move no longer makes craters! If they could pull off crazy terrain-warping effects on the PS1, why not the Xbox360?

As long as we're departing from the OP's NES/SNES stipulation, they need to make another entry in the X-Wing/TIE-Fighter series. It's been far too long since we've had a good space combat game, especially one set in the Star Wars universe.

Oh, whoops, I forgot about the "NES/SNES era" comment. Well... Playstation came out before EarthBound, so... yeah. Even if Vigilante 8 didn't come out until 1998.
