Step 1: Fix site CSS ✓
Step 2: Script a few comics for buffer ✓
Step 3: Redesign Navi sprite ✓
Step 4: MAKE A FRIGGIN' COMIC ✓✓✓✓✓✓✓

I mentioned this on the forum earlier, but now that everyone's seen it in the comic above I can safely state: hey look, Navi's all different! I always wanted an Ocarina of Time-style sprite to match her original game appearance, and the Zelda II fairy's kinda ugly. Plus I had the opportunity to improve her glowiness, and anyone that's read my comic for more than three seconds probably knows I'm a big fan of the glowiness.

But most importantly of all: no more Diminutive Mega-Man #2 on top of the page! Oh yeah, and the whole making comics again thing.

There's, like, way too much glowing now. Sooo many florescent characters.

"Way too much glowing" is not in my vocabulary.

When's Zelda finally going to start walking again? Maybe if she was also glowing her legs would work?

Hey look, Mr. Cheeze is back.

Comic needs more onomatopoeia, Saria looks at the camera too much, and the candle now seems ...less necessary. But other than that, lookin' good man.

I-I don't remember any of the plot that leads up to this point... S-sorry.

hahahaha. as I read the comic, I thought to myself "I wonder if I ever read to this point in the first place? Ah well, he's kind of summed it up for me in the first few panels, so it's all good."

Good ol' Mario, always lookin out for people. The glowiness is UHMAZING. I chuckled at the punch line as well.

That's on me. If you read from, uh... here? You should be up to speed. Unless someone wants to post a kickass summary of recent events!

Well, recently, Link got the master sword from the miscreant (who turned out to be Miyamoto in disguise) so he could defeat Onyx in an epic battle. Bub has recently died from his life as a NYC detective, and Pit is mourning his loss. Navi has finally overcome her addiction to heroin but she's still having withdrawel symptoms. Our heros have finally gathered together on windmill island to consult Saria for the Ocarina of Time, so they can learn the song of healing. And we still don't know the TRUE identity of Majora's Mask...I think it might be shadow link.

And that's recent events. By the way, nice comic.

Yeah, being the heroine must be pretty addicting.

Yeah, my spelling still sucks after all these years.

You forgot to mention that Ganondorf turned out to be The One and is currently wreaking havoc in the Matrix! Now kuko's going to be completely lost!

Good lord, this plot is more convoluted than a Tom Clancy novel.

That is an amazing avatar Mario. Did you make it?

Hey look, Mr. Cheeze is back.

Naw, I just felt like acknowledging the return of the comic (especially after all that complaining like three years ago).

And my forum style is finally NOT stuck on Timberlake!

This is like saying there are too many lens flares, heathen.

I'm imagining those lens flares saying "hey", or "listen"...

    Hurray for the new comic!

Also, I miss Spelling the Vacuum. Unlike Mario here, Elliot really has forsaken us.
  • edited July 2009
Elliott's just laying low these days, under the radar.
