I wish you the best of luck, dude!! This play/movie kicks ass so I hope you can be a part of it!!!!

Kinda curious though... do the people here like the play or the movie better? This is the second song of the play I've seen and both times I've liked the movie way better.

Welp, I didn't get the part I auditioned for.

I did get chorus though! :D

You should pull a Sweeney Todd on the guy who got your part. Directors love initiative in their actors.

I can't sing Sweeney, he's too low for me :)

I believe he meant you should murder the other actors and bake them in meat pies. Or give them a haircut, I'm not quite sure.

If only I'd shown them this:

Well congrats on getting in to the play!! I have to agree, the musical is fantastic, I almost had the opportunity to see the musical performed at my high school but the main accompanist ended up in a car accident and the show was called off. I've never had the pleasure to see it proper :( but I absolutely loved the movie.

Hope you have a fun experience with it! I know rehearsals can get annoying very fast since they end up sucking up ALL of your free time, but most people I know in theater absolutely love it despite the fact.

Plus, you know, Sweeney Todd. Very nice!
