Christmas SCIENCE!

edited January 2010 in Movies and Shows
Randomly reappearing again for one night only

But in the spirit of the season, I think it is time to watch and discuss some Christmas movies. For SCIENCE!

Doesn't have to be a movie about Christmas, just needs to be around Christmas.

The original Gremlins: Technically a Christmas movie.

The new version of Death Race... Christmas movie (check out the prison transport that Jensen is on, Christmas tree right there).

Plus you have a lot of delightful pure B grade genius: Silent Night, Deadly Night, Jack Frost (The horror one with the killer snowman) and Black Xmas just to start the list.

See how many other obscure movies you can find with Christmas (and hopefully axe-murderer) themes. It's surprising what's out there.

Funny you should mention this, as I'm hosting a Christmas horror movie night at my place tomorrow night! We're opening with Santa's Slay, and Silent Night Deadly Night 1 and 2 (GARBAGE DAY!) will be in the mix. I've got The Gingerdead Man, which was pretty awful when we viewed it at last year's party but may still make it into the rotation if I get a lot of newcomers. I found the 2006 version of Black Christmas, never saw the original but I'm sure I'll manage. I'm hoping Jack Frost arrives in the mail tomorrow.

I'm angry at Apathy because he still never confrimed whether or not my secret santa gift arrived for xmas '06. I will not participate in any SCIENCE! discussions until this is resolved.

Too late for Christmas Horror Movie Night, but I'm glad this video has finally made it onto Internet. When I heard about this last year I was eager to watch, and it doesn't disappoint. I present the latest addition to the horror movie roster: Treevenge!
