Actually, I am kind of jealous, since 80% of the people I know from Baton Rouge have needed up moving there for at least a few years. Austin is like some weird halfway home for people from Baton Rouge before they establish careers.
I almost went to Austin last fall. I won a writing contest and was given the opportunity of a lifetime to give a talk about EarthBound at a big video game conference, and make a rad poster depicting the same game, but... I never made the poster because I'm a lazy jerk.

Earthbound is the most over-hyped RPG of all time, and the soundtrack sucks.
What was your talk about? Or would have been about?
It was supposed to be about the game narrative. The contest was basically writing a review of any game we wanted, and the best reviews were picked to make posters out of and optionally fly down to the Game Developers' Conference in Austin and talk about. Mine was picked as one of the winners, but they waited too long to give us specifics on the design of the poster, so by the time I got it I was home from school for the summer so I didn't have access to cheap printing and things like that.
Admittedly, I don't really like talking so I was just gonna go down there to look at the posters and explore the conference anyway.
PLAYBOY'S TOP PARTY SCHOOLS 2010: THE TOP 10 SCHOOLS
The verdict is in. The number one party school is the land is the University of Texas at Austin. Big-time sports, gorgeous babes, great academics in an awesome town: Texas has it all. It's good to be a LONGHORN.
When you add up academics, the weather, the liberal atmosphere, South by Southwest, game day and the nightlife on Sixth Street, UT Austin is one heck of a school. Hook ’em, Horns!

wat.
I don't even know what to say to this. I have never heard such a fallacy in my life.
She certainly is.
An aggie is a student from A&M
Also Fun Fact: Austin smells funny.
This is true and i can prove it. I met somebody from Austin once and they did indeed smell funny.
Yes. Yes you are. Welcome to OB.
Query: Are you a teenage girl?
Hey fun! I'm a stupid newbie too. Nice to meet you.
Query: Are YOU a teenage girl?
No. No I'm not.

You're just jealous because Austin is amazing.

There, I said it.
