I like to use Bowser's down throw, because it is highly amusing. I'm not very good with him, though, so I can be easily dispatched by a good player if I use him. He's definitely an entertaining character to use, though.
He can block ya know, and he still has all the dodge moves everyone else has. Plus his attacks have much farther range than the smaller characters. Plus his B-up move is a VERY fast attack.
Any slow, powerful character like that simply requires an unusually high ability for timing. If you can anticipate your enemies' moves, you can slam them every time.
Well timing or skill is not really something that makes bowser better, but rather puts him on par then, imo.
But mostly what I meant was that if bowser has a good move to interrupt the really fast string attacks some characters have, which just keep coming and keep you in the air, I haven't seen it.
Maybe it's because the people I play against are really good with fast characters and I've never seen bowser as a contender or in experienced hands.
Anyway, the lack of a move like that is the reason I don't like kirby as much as I used to… and win more than I used to.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.
My brother's second best character is Bowser. With his first being Mario. kinda funny actually.
