Captain America

Another movie, another super hero origin. It's got me realizing I never actually read the comics and don't actually know who was all in the Avengers group.

Regardless. It's Captain America. He has a shield. He throws it at some point. He wears a silly costume sometimes. Also he has been known to punch nazis. Need more be said?

    Yeah, I'm more iffy on this adaptation than others. From what I know of Captain America, he's never seemed that exciting for me, just a leftover from the Cold War era. And even in the movie he wears a silly costume.

    I've heard this one's pretty sweet as well, and that he can actually move in said silly costume leading to some decent hand to hand combat. Granted I haven't actually seen it myself yet...

    I saw it, and I must say I am very impressed. They took a rather hokey superhero idea, and actually passed it off quite well.
