I never knew Hamlet's dad was so adorable post-mortem!
  • edited April 2006
Yes, you can clearly see that he is attempting to snuggle away his son's dolor.
  • edited April 2006
    Nah, he's a ghost.

He's feeding on the aura of his son's emo-osity.

I like my explanation better. I also like how the part of Yorick seems to be played by the Homestarrunner.

I particulary like how Denmark is in the shape of an explosion (possibly of angst).

    I think I like stick-figure-Fortinbras the best!

Even better than the Nazi factory that represents Germany? I thought that Hamlet predated both the Eiffel Tower and, uh, Nazi factories by many years, but maybe this is a modernization. Hamlet is emo, after all.

    Nazi factory?

I thought it was a swastika factory. They had to come from somewhere after all.
  • edited April 2006
I concede; that is definitely a swastika factory.

But where's Polonius behind a curtain?! Or any mention of Claudius at all?

...this conversation is quickly veering towards what I had hoped it wouldn't.

Also: They should have Rosencrantz and Guildenstern hanging from Big Ben or something.

You're right, I do miss the not-represented characters. Hamlet's mother isn't even in this.

I imagine this would be a lot funnier if I had read Hamlet.

SILENCE, MORTALS is just super, drowning there in grass.
  • edited May 2006
Who's Olivia? There's an Ophelia who drowned in Hamlet.

    You fail at Shakespeare.

I'm so ashamed. What can I do to repent?

Perform MacBeth, but that may just be me seeing how it's my personal favorite.

    Mine too!

    I call MacDuff.
