Road Trip and Couch Crashing

Hello All!

I was just recently informed that I've been accepted into an internship at a tech company in Seattle. The internship starts "in June" (date undetermined at the moment) and ends in December. I will be driving cross country to get there (about 2600 miles according to Google Maps), and was hoping I could crash on couches along the way.

I've attached the route:
New Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/RbCAk
Old Google Maps http://goo.gl/maps/a5tyL

If anybody lives anywhere along the way, and wouldn't mind a house guest for a night who makes pretty good chicken parm, I'd appreciate it.

I'm in South Dakota, but I'm about an hour from the interstate.

Well, I'm technically pretty close, but a couch isn't really mine offer to give so I'm not sure about it. The pitfalls of being a jobless bum I guess.

Of course now maybe I just might take a train and leave my car in Pittsburgh.

I have no idea what's going on, we might be buying a house. Man, being a grownup is hard.

If you take the southerly route through St Louis, you are more than welcome at my place.

In fact, I practically insist you do so.

More in fact, I'm going to message you on Facebook now!

If you took the south route, and then at the south most point of that route (after Minnesota) diverted from your course to go directly east through south-eastern Idaho I would offer you a place. That might be a slower route though..

My couch is always open to wayward Orange Belt travelers, but it wouldn't be the most direct route.

Thanks guys! Imma just take a train or plane I think, though, and leave my car in Pittsburgh.

Oddly enough, I recently interviewed with a company in Seattle. With any luck I'll be making this trip too.

    ...I'm not moving to Seattle.

I've always heard good things about Seattle! Except the weather. And the depression/suicide rate. ....Yeeeah... Other than that though, it sounds like a cool city! Good place for a tech job too, aw yeah tech jobs.
