*sniffle* These kids grow up so fast! Before you know it, they're off painting scenes from Homestar Runner cartoons! I saw this work of art posted in the hallway outside my office, and figured y'all might enjoy a look-see.

Who are those people in the paintings? I don't go to homestar runner much, thus am out of it.

You're obviously working in a cutting edge environment there.

Well considering its a private school in California, it can be assumed that the school has some of the most high tech stick men creation techniques in the world!

What, are they giving the kindergartners lap tops now too?

It's a painting. But to answer your question, the lower grades now have a mobile cart of iBooks in place of the old iMac G3 lab. So yes they do use laptops, but they still don't take them home until 8th grade.

Until 8th grade? I remember 5th graders having them when I was working at Cougar's.

Whoops, I meant 5th grade. They get to keep them after 8th grade. Sorry, I've been getting a bunch of 8th grade graduates' computers ready today.

Note to Jakey: Yes, I was 100% sincere.
