Nintendopoly

edited June 2006 in Games
Nintendo Monopoly, which uses 6 Nintendo-themed pewter tokens - Mario’s Cap, Link’s Iron Boots, Donkey Kong’s Barrel, a Hylian Shield, a Koopa Shell and an NES Controller.

I'm so buying one :)

Is there anything that hasn't been converted to Monopoly yet?

Everyone knows that the original Monopoly is the only good one. It's the only version you can pub-crawl.

That is awesomer than Red Sox Monopoly. I'll probably get one considering my old Monopoly set is missing half the peices and possibly the board.

I got Mets Monopoly, and my little brother is really into Monopoly, but he likes the normal one better. However, he insisted that I let him use the Mets hot dog piece for when he played with his friends, and OF COURSE he lost it. Jerk.

This looks really awesome, even though I don't like monopoly. It's just that it always takes hours to play and even then, only ends when one player decides to leave and gives all their deeds to someone else who then proceeds to crush the reast of the players.

What's pub-crawing and why would you be able to do it to monopoly?

My town had their own version of Monopoly made. I still have an original version that my Dad purchased years ago. The coolest one I've ever seen, though was an oak board with solid gold pieces and very real looking money.

I don't see why there is no Metroid piece.

You start at one pub and travel onwards into the night via various other pubs, drinking at each one. Hence the crawling. The original monopoly board corresponds to London, and there is at least one pub in the vicinity of every square.

That sounds like it could become the most awesome and hazardous drinking game of all time.

    It's up there.

    Because they didn't make one.

Monopoly on the Sega Master System was great. Too bad they're not releasing Nintendo Monopoly for the SMS.

I would consider getting Nintendopolly if it weren't for the feeling of frusteration that is deriveved from any form of monopolly. Not to mention, I already have the starwars verson so I'm all set with monopolly type "bored" games.

Clue is a much better game anyway.

    Clue sucks, play the anti-Clue.

ANTI-CLUE: THE GAME OF HIDING A NOISY MURDER THAT OCCURRED IN A WELL-LIT ROOM FULL OF WITNESSES
  • edited June 2006
I think the only way you can hide that sort of murder involves a lot more murder. And an incinerator.

Sounds like a pretty good game.

    Sounds like 8-bit Theatre.

    Sorry, please try again.

Well, maybe not consecutive hours of fun.
