    First!

That's some matter-of-fact trash talking right there.

I'm glad they can remain dignified, but still keep it suspenseful.

Navi appears to have stolen Pit's text bubble. And their legs must be tired from standing there for almost two months. :p

I don't think the fourth wall would have been broken if Bub didn't mention the hiatus.

I loved Navi's first line; it made me giggle and all that jazz.

I don't know why Navi is complaining, she's not even standing. she's just... floating.

Wings get tired too, ya know.

And yeah, the fourth panel bubbles confused me a bit.

EDIT: Not to keep heapin' on criticism, because I did like the comic, but the beginning kinda confuses me too:
-Is this the part where you blah blah blah..?
    -Yes.
-Well I'm not gonna do that.
What is the Miscreant not gonna do? I thought Sheik was supposed to do something?

To Sheik and Miscreant (And in real life, Mario), I have but this to say about the upcoming battle and hopeful unmasking of Miscreant:

Glad to see that my return to comics is so well-heralded.

Stop being a jerk about the comic, honestly. Mario has things to do, and not like he owes us comics or anything. When it starts to feel like an obligation and you have to deal with people who demand updates and demand to be entertained then all the fun gets sucked out of it.

Woot!!! New comic!! I like, read 4 or 5 new webcomics all the way through while waiting for this comic!!!
  • edited June 2006
That doesn't really mean much. Some webcomics don't have very big archives.

EDIT: I'm getting tired just thinking about Navi fluttering her wings like that for 2 months.

And it must be pretty hard on Pit to have an arrow drawn (or whatever the proper term is) for two months.

He just re-drew it in response to Bub's comment. Notice where he's pointing it?

OH EMM GEE! Pit is the Miscreant! THIS PROVES IT!

If Pit is the Miscreant, then who was Pit in the last comic when they were talking to each other?
  • edited June 2006
    obviously a hired man

I believe the fancy archer term is "nocked." But drawn works just as well, if not moreso.

What is the Miscreant not gonna do? I thought Sheik was supposed to do something?

That confuses me a bit, too. I think the Miscreant is not gonna back down from his plans, as it's about the time where Shiek makes the hero's obligatory "stop your evil plans" speech.

If it was poorly worded, I really don't care at this point. It's been difficult enough to find time to make this comic, and I have no intention to remake it. The dialogoue probably made more sense before I edited it down to four panels, but I'm sure you understand the gist of the exchange.

I'm just happy you updated the comic
  • edited June 2006
As am I. It felt really good to make comic-type stuff again.

So, Zelda Comic is like your drug? See, you try to kick the habit, but it comes back to bite you in the ass. So the moral is, never try to give stuff up.
  • edited June 2006
    Dude, give it a rest.
  • edited June 2006
i'm new so what part of the forum do you talk about enything related to the zelda comic? I can't whate for more updates

(please don't make fun of my bad spelling)
  • edited June 2006
Eh, don't worry, some people just aren't good spellers, I personally don't judge someone too harshly for their spelling. Now if your grammar is bad, that'll piss me off. I'm quite anal about grammar.
  • edited June 2006
I thot grammer was spelling. lol. I don't know much..i guss, i'm pretty stupid for my age. so were can i post stuff about the comic?
  • edited June 2006
It should be verily agreed -- this isn't going anywhere.

I mean, really. Sheik and the Miscreant are having a fascinating conversation, I assure you, but even after the mention of the required battle they continue to chatter? Where's the blood, you two?

Leastways Bub was aware of the brief pause in updates.

Yeah, I think the general idea is there. I wouldn't worry about it.
