buy/sell/trade thread?

Hey, do you guys think that would be useful or fun? It seems like a natural extension of pretty much any gaming discussion board.

Of course, I don't have any personal motivation for asking about this.

<_<
>_>

*Ka-OFFICIAL RULES!* (as handed down by SCIENCE! itself. With lasers.)

1) No links to non-member sales.
2) If whatever you're trying to sell/trade doesn't happen do not bump the thread to get people to look at it again. You may edit colour for the original post to red to indicate that it is still on sale. That is all.
3) If you have sold/traded/whatever an item: edit the post. Blue text and somewhere mention the fact that you have sold the item/s.
4) Stick to topic. Normally I'm not averse to an off topic thread, but this needs to be clear and concise.

It's probably turnips. Much better deal than Nook will give you, I'm sure.

Okay, well... say I had a copy of Sonic Rush, and wanted to see if any Orange Belt friends wanted it, in exchange for currency or items. Then I could post about it in a thread like this one, and others could post similar things.

    Hypothetically.

I got no beef with such a thread. But I'm a hoarder of games, so you won't get many offers from me up for sale.

I do like the idea of trades though. I'll just see what all y'all have to offer.

Cool. I wasn't trying to push anything that would arouse mod ire. I just thought it would be a nice resource. Buying from and trading with friends is nicer than eBay.

Item-wise, I also have a brand new unopened Drill Dozer that I'm not sure if I want.

I've been looking for Gunstar Heroes for 7 years. I just got a eBay account, so I thought I might try that.

    What's 200 euros in USD?

I may put a bid up for that thing.
  • edited September 2006
pffff, that's a pound sign. the going rate is 1.89179 USD per pound. that makes it $378.36 for one night lord soul. totally not worth it, unless it comes with Rob the robot. otherwise i bid 5 dollars worth of rubber bands and pencils.

Does anyone want an old cheapo Pablo tablet? I used to use it to draw comics, but I don't really draw anymore. It's not a fancy Wacom or anything, but it works. It's cheap, but, on the other hand, it's cheap.

Anyone want to pay for the cost of shipping?

OMG! Damn the irony, but I would like this thing so much!! How much? ...(I'm scared it's too much)

Here's a page that shows a picture and some specs for the thing. As for price, I don't know. I didn't actually expect anyone to want it for some reason. What sounds fair to you? Really, as long as I don't lose money sending it to you, I'm happy.

No, I already tainted my DS with my own copy of Sonic Rush.

Anyone want to buy a copy of Metroid Prime? It also includes the demo disc for Metroid Prime 2 that Nintendo gave away if you had five or more Gamecube games registered on their website. I'd really like to get at least part of the $20 I wasted on that game back.

Well, I'm 13 and I don't have a job yet, and my allowance is 10 bucks a month. I have $10 right now. I'm thinking somewhere in the $30-$40 range...but that would also mean..OH WAIT! Christmas money is fun.... But I don't know if you want to wait that long. And how much is shipping to where you are?

Let me go to the post office (probably going to be next week) and add up how much shipping is going to be, and that will be the total cost. PM me your zip code. Also assure me that your parents aren't going to give you or me trouble about your internet shopping.

My dad buys motercycle parts off the internet all the time. I'll double check with him when he gets home.

Hey guys, I REALLY want to sell someone a platinum Gamecube for cheap!

It comes with a controller, a memory card 251, and F-Zero GX and maybe another game!
  • edited March 2007

  • jcjc

    I... don't know! Maybe like $40?

A refurbished (gross) Gamecube goes for $60 on EBgames.com.

Heh. My local game shop has a big pile of Gamecubes that they're selling for £15 ($29) each.

    Literally just in a pile.
  • edited March 2007
Well, the Wii has made the gamecube pointless, aside from the game boy advance player.
