X'o'Lore does animation

edited March 2007 in Comics
I recently finished a 12 week class focused on 3D Studio Max. I spoke of showing off my work and was told to "youtube it" so I did. This is a shrunk down and compressed version, but full length. Enjoy.

It's all like "whoosh" and stuff. Well, that's the impression I got anyway. Whoosh. It's interesting AND confusing! And now I know your name! Which I will soon forget.

It's going to feed me to the Sharkticons!

I...don't know what sharkticons are. I'll have to look that up sometime. And I think I've posted my name before. Not that anyone remembers.

Mat! Your name is Mat! That being said, if I ever see you in real life I'm still gonna call you X, it's just too cool.

How long did it take you to make that animation, it was pretty good.

I usually spell it as Matt if I write it that way, as it looks less stupid. And I lost track of the time I spent on that animation. I will just say, a lot.

To DI: I didn't even have that in mind when I made that, but I see what you mean.

I like it, I could never do such a thing myself, and I really liked that. Something about it seemed really familiar though, be it the sword in the blob, or the revolving faces. But still, Good job. I can only imagine how much work animation takes.

Well, After looking back at this it occurs to me I never showed off my last animation, but that would require some setup work that I can't do right now.

I did however find a place to put an odd little project for my flash class.
    Ka-Link!

I worry that people are not realizing that the sun does stuff also.
It was supposed to be a "musical instument". We were encouraged to take creative liberties.

I tried to play a tune on it at first but the fact that the bells weren't arranged in order of pitch made it a bit difficult.

    Same here.

If I found some proper bell sounds I could fix that pretty quick. I just grabbed the first bell sounds I found.

    Try metallophone sounds.

I've been assembling a game in flash to some extent. It is not much to look at right now, but it seems to be functioning fairly well. It can be viewed here. I have a flash based website that looks much cooler. I will get that going later because I am a lazy bastard.
