Law and Order coloring book

You know, I realize that possibly two people in this forum even watch Law and Order, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy this freakin' awesome coloring book!

Also, more of you need to watch Law & Order.

The coloring book is awesome to no end. See if you can figure out who is in the picture on page 8! The answer may shock you.

    I watch CSI:...

But if it's any consolation, I don't watch the spinoffs.

dude, this has been circulating the internet for years (since before i got hooked on l&o in syndication, which happened at least three years ago) but it never stops being awesome.

i like the briscoe and green years best! (though the ci ones with goren and eames are pretty good too.)

Yeah, JC, his for-sale stuff is pretty awesome. Some of it is quite breathtaking. I never thought I could covet a diptych print featuring Ed Norton, but there we are.

Leesh, the Briscoe and Green years are classic, but I have a soft spot for the obscure second-season Logan-Serreta team. We have a theory that the shot of the four principal characters at the end of the credits (walking down the hall, possibly laughing or conversing) is supposed to indicate the tone of the current cast. Are they fraternizing, or do they seem to be all-business? The brand-new lineup features sort of two cop-lawyer conversations. I wonder if this means better relations between the Law and the Order. Fontana was pretty anti-lawyer.

Did my images not show up, or did they get edited out?

In their stead, I'll say EVERYONE GO TO THE PAGE I LINKED TO AND LOOK AT THE IMAGES THAT ARE ON THAT PAGE

    THEY ARE GOOD IMAGES

I've seen various permutations of Law and Order over the years, mostly with my parents, but I just recently started getting into cop shows for real with various CSIs. Law and Order is a little too daunting to start up, and I'm not a fan of the RIPPED FROM THE HEADLINES! stories they seem to be doing every time I see it.

Try the TNT reruns-- they did less 'ripped from the headline' in the past. They're not actually daunting to get into, because you don't need to know much (or any) backstory. Most of the focus is on the crime, not the principal characters.

I didn't know that your post had images. I wonder what happened to them, since the edit screen for that post doesn't even have any image tags in it.

I don't particularly mind when they rip things from the headlines, except that I sometimes wonder how much time it takes to pump out a script based on the latest tabloids. Also, they're doing three of them in a row for this latest season (the seventeenth!). But as long as they maintain all the legal processing that makes the show so awesome, I'll keep watching. I don't even hate the newest cast members, so that's a plus!

I kinda like them, actually. The only cast member that I dislike on any of the shows is that twitchy guy on CI.

I'm always afraid I'll dislike a new character. When they said there would be two new characters at once (and also that Fontana was leaving the show... that guy was so awesome), I was doubly concerned. So I was glad to find that they were sufficiently likable.

Detective Twitchy is annoying, but it's become somewhat amusing to only watch the end of CI and see him get inside their head, and see them stupidly confess to the crime while their counsel sits back with that dumbfounded look on their face.

i love twitchy detective!!! you mean goren, right?

my favorite ripped from the headlines is the one starring gary busey, based on robert blake.

Of the strange gifts my friends have purchased with the intent of pleasing another, the Law & Order coloring book is fairly high on the list of the coolest. Dick Wolf's gritty NYC cop series is now, thanks to the USA network, entering its second decade and 400th spinoff. Working from home and having cable we can attest to show being aired on at least one network at any given time during the day. It's entertaining television, though not our favorite cop show (tossup between The Wire and Cop Rock). Love it or hate it, it's part of the zeitgeist, which explains why the Law & Order Coloring Book is so awesome. Almost as great as 13oostedwgn's cut-and-paste GT-R safety car.
