Yeah, I notice that too. Like when I'm holding the door for someone and then I fake slam it shut (take the door and throw it but not actually letting go so I stop it before it hits them), they always flinch. Can't figure it out.
Anyway, about the original motion thing, I do that, but only when there are two or more of us waiting to go through a narrow area and nobody wants to be rude and just barge right through.
