Wow I can practically perform knee surgery now.

What if I don't WANT to be there? Surgery kinda weirds me out.

When you're in the ER and under the knife, there's no time for a second opinion!

That reminds me of the old CGA "Life and Death" game I had for my OMG teh CD-ROMz0rz! 386 back in the day. I could never successfully get the guy's appendix out, though. I think there was supposed to be an extra manual for the thing that I never got. This one was a lot easier, but it didn't give me the chance to hack people up with a scalpel.

Yep. That was a cool game. Didn't know that there was an Amiga version with slightly less crappy graphics. I should set up an Amiga emulator one of these days.

The ONLY thing I remember about the CGA Life and Death game was the AWESOME PC-speaker scream the patient would make when, uh, you cut into him without anesthetic.

    Anaesthetic is for pussies.

According to the game, it's also for abdomens.

Wouldn't they swallow their tounge if they screamed too loud?

I wish I hadn't played this. It made my knee hurt just thinking about it.
