Merry Christmas eve!

edited July 18 in Events
Since most people won't be on the internet come Christmas Day, I decided to do the Xmas salutations now.

Merry Christmas one and all, and I wish you lots of happiness with your family and friends, which is what Xmas is all about after all!

"Merry Christmas, movie house! Merry Christmas, Emporium! Merry Christmas, you wonderful old Building and Loan!"

I wish you all safe travel and an enjoyable holiday weekend among friends and family, everyone. "Keep watching the skis!"

I would, but it never bloody snows in this part of the country ¬_¬

Merry Christmas specifically to Mario for first response!

Actually, it was a Simpsons quote that had nothing to do with skiing! Booyah!

I Wonder why the quote marks didn't give it away?

Bloody Snow would kick ass so very much. It'd be the best Christmas EVAR.

It's not snowing here in MICHIGAN. Something's wrong with the universe.

It still hasn't snowed in New England -.-;.

    No snow over here.

Some melting plastic displays again though. Now that's entertainment.

Merry Christmas to you all, I may resurface from my food coma on Christmas day and be online, but maybe not.

It's not snowing in NEW YORK. I mean, it's like 40 degrees out!!!! I want my snow.

It's not snowing here in the midwest either. What's up with that?

I shouldn't think there will be snow at 40 degrees! You must be boiling hot right now!

(I am well aware that it's Fahrenheit for you pedants)

Yep, us silly Americans and our "U.S. Customary" system of measurement.

Even if it is 40 degrees, it won't snow, because the freezing point is 32 degrees, dur.
  • edited December 2006
I like -40 degrees myself. There's no confusion that way. It's just plain cold no matter how you measure it.

We had a little snow, but it seems to be melting. This has been like this for a few years now though. I think it's a bit of a climate shift or something. I kinda miss the cold snowy winters though. Specifically the snowy part.

There's no snow down south of you either. I don't mind it though. I won't have to shovel yet.:p

Merry Christmas to all the Orange-belters!

I'll try to be a little bit more talkative around here. :)

I never said that it could snow in 40 degree F weather. I just said the temperature and stated that it wasn't snowing. =/

    Merry on time Christmas!
  • edited December 2006
Technically, to be on time, we'd have to start with GMT 0:00 on the 25th. The Orange Belt is international, you know!

Well, it's officially Christmas where I'm sitting.
    ...
Just a sec, I think there's a big fat guy in red with some cattle and a big cart full of trash on my roof. Ima go knock him down :)

I'm not complaining though, I hate that stuff.

Indeed it is, I say everyone should post something they got for Xmas.

World War Z, Max Brooks' newest book.

    QI Series 1 DVD

A reminder of how good it feels to LOVE, if only for a few moments!

Also, World War Z is the compilation of the historical accounts of those who survived the zombie rising, right?

I got a keychain that works as a universal remote on about 95% of the TVs on the market. Now I can watch something other than CNN nest time I'm in an airport. And an FLCL DVD.
