My final post of the year, I put up some stats and reflected on the year a bit.

I did, for the most part, what I wanted to do with myself and any regrets I may or may not have can't really be helped at this point. It's always the same things, maybe I should have finished that novel, or written more poetry, or been nicer to my friends, or tried harder to succeed where I felt I needed to. Everyone's got things they wish they accomplished over the previous year, it's a rare few who are satisfied with their lot in life.

Wow. That made me feel a bit better about some shit I've been trying to deal with lately. Thanks. :)

Jeff, there was never anything wrong with the less-than-dailiness of Daily Deviations. It is a great blog, and I hope you continue it on your new site.

You didn't quote the following paragraph though, where I said
I can honestly say that I'm proud of what the pages of this website contain.
Just that I tried is plenty good, I'm proud of myself. These posts just always seem to come off as melancholy sounding, I guess.

One of the things I looked forward to with finishing school was getting enough free time to catch up on DD. I haven't managed to do it yet, but I will soon.

Well, don't worry if it goes down, it'll be back up a few days afterwards.

I must do a full site back-up, just in case, I better do that right now.
