    Hmm, that was a poor choice of words. But I still contend that Maryland is not in South-Eastern territory.

    I know it's never a good source to cite ever, but this map on wikipedia shows the southern states, the striped ones are sometimes considered southern.

    So yeah, some people sometimes consider Maryland southern.

    Yeah, I guess when all you have is the original 13 colonies, Maryland can fit in the southern definition.

    I don't think I'd ever consider Maryland a southern state. Or was that Massachusetts? I always get those two mixed up.

    Everyone who's "hip" really knows that Delaware is just an extension of Maryland created to boost America's state count. Kinda like what the "say something about the above poster thread" is to Night Lord.
