*Ahem* Anyway. This rounds topic is Sonic the Hedgehog. Making a Sprite Comic about Sonic is like sitting on the toilet backwards. We've all done it at least once in our lives. So make me some blue-hedgehogged comic, yo! The prize is a drawing from me, so on and so forth. IM l-l3ll4 []l_l7l3 -/0!

If Mjc ever shows up, he'll be judging. I hope he didn't die.Maybe he's just on vacation.

I haven't read anything past the post where I flipped out on Khan, and I refuse to go back and look. Not worth it because something will piss me off and I'll do it all over again. So nobody made me cry. I just took some time to cool off and format my computer to free it from Sony's evil software. Free music download my ass! You put on their shitty Sonic Stage software and they don't even have the song you wanted for free in their database! So then you try to uninstall but they leave so much shit that it bogs down your computer something terrible. Gah.

Long story short: free music download from Sony is a trap. Just pay the 99 cents to someone respectable, like iTunes (still think Apple is stupid for the "iPhone" deal though).

Anyway, Sonic? I think I might enter this one, so you can judge alone anyway! MWAHAHAHA!!

That sounds like crying to me.

Actually, that edited quote sounds like a perfectly accurate description of the Sonic Stage software. It's all the stuff you omitted that makes it sound like crying. :p

But it wasn't John induced crying, so the joke is still invalid! Mwahahaha!

Is that from Sonic CD? Pretty cool game, in my opinion. Had lots of POTENTIAL and FUN. The Time Travel aspect of it was AWESOME.

I never understood the time travel aspect of the game.

You go back in time and find some sort of weird generator Robotnik set up in one of the first two acts, thereby creating a "good future" (it will say this once you pass the spinner). When you get to the Robotnik act (always in the future), it will be sunny and happy instead of dark and bleak.

Whoa. I saw this thread right after getting my new Nintendo Power.
    Coincidence?
  • edited January 2007
...is it? Does the new Nintendo Power talk about Sonic CD or something?
  • edited January 2007
    Not to my knowledge.
  • edited January 2007
Sonic CD is most definately awesome.
  • edited January 2007
No, Sonic is on the cover for "Sonic and the Secret Rings." It contains an article that assures that I will not be blowing $50 on said game. I always hate the on-rails levels of platformers (any ride chaser level in Mega Man X4-8, for example), so there's no way I'm buying a game that's nothing but an on-rails platformer.

If you buy any 3D Sonic game, you're wasting your money.
  • edited January 2007
Sonic Team should just give up with 3D sonic games, and make beautiful 2D sonic games, with pretty 3D effects.

Now a sequel to NiGHTS on the Wii wouldn't go amiss....

    Entries anyone?

Sonic Adventure 2 was immensely fun in my opinion. (excluding the Miles Prowler and Dr. Eggman levels, although those weren't totally horrible. just not fun.) The Sonic and Shadow levels were nonstop speed and action coupled with uppity adventurous music.

The final boss level was the funnest boss fight I've ever had. It gave me chills.
  • edited January 2007
If two-thirds of the levels aren't fun, then the game basically isn't fun.
  • edited January 2007
If only one third of the game is fun, but the game is four times as big as a game that is one-hundred percent fun, then the game has more total fun. That's MATH.
  • edited January 2007
But the Eggman and Tails levels were not two thirds of the game. There was also chaos emerald treasure hunting done by Rouge the bat and Knuckles. There were probably only like 15 Tails and Eggman levels combined. There were more like 30 Sonic and Shadow levels, and like 15 Knuckles and Rouge treasure hunts. At least, it feels like your either sonic or Shadow almost the entire time, and that the other charaters are sort of like high-action mini-games. I agree with you that the newest 3-D games are getting to be the same garbage that has slightly better graphics that the previous titles, but Sonic Adventure 2:Battle was an amazing gmaes with a great storyline, and compelling characters. It's actually my second favorite game of all time. I found that the 2-player mode on the game was also very well done, and it was extremely fun to race our friends down the ciy streets in a snowboard-stlye mini-game. It was a great game that was one of my first ones, and still one of my favorites.

    EDIT: THAT'S MATH.

The heck happended to my sprite comic contest? >.> <.<

The treasure hunt levels were the worst. THE WORST. Especially with that crappy rappy music playing the whole time.

Heh, this school computer spell-checks my posts. That's interesting.
