You'd have to ask Geoff about that, but it generally boils down to:

-100 panels is a lot of panels, so don't expect it to be done any time soon.
-It's Witch's Brew, so really don't expect it to be done any time soon.

Witch's Brew truly is a spare time sort of effort. We're not gonna take the time to give you a running tally, that just doesn't seem to be an efficient use of energy. Patience = virtue, people!

Also, to the Brew participants: the secret webpage that lists whose turn it is more often than not is horribly outdated, because it has to be manually changed by Geoff. Don't depend on it as being accurate and live, 'cause it ain't.

No! Trust your instincts instead! They're nearly as accurate!

No. Stop asking.

Okay. I wasn't sure, what with Agentcel giving us some random percent, and then whatever John said getting him banned. I mean, he could have been telling us no, but in a horribly offensive manner (which wouldn't surprise me at all). Thanks for a concrete answer. :)

John faked his own banning through creative alteration of his signature and title. To be funny, I think.
• edited February 2007
The first clue would have been that John edited his own post with the banning message.
• edited February 2007
At first. That was to get the LAY of the LAND. Then I deleted the whole thing and reposted in one clean post. I think, atleast. Did I mess up?

Not possible unless he has access to MacJake's account: he can't edit anything to appear underneath his own signature, and that edit tag only appears in that one post, so it's not part of the signature. Therefore it's a genuine edit tag.

Or maybe he just payed Macjake to do it. Payed him with sex rolls.

mjc, the post originally was cleverly doctored to look like I edited it. Then Jakey edited it, and it had double edits (since the first one form me was fake). The mario edit was subsequently removed so it wouldn't look fishy.

Sorry for ruining the joke, John!
• edited February 2007
Ah. I'd never seen the edit in there from you, just a real edit from MacJake.
• edited February 2007
That's okay, Mario! From the ashes of my old joke rose a new joke that EVERYONE is now in on! That makes it less funny, but also more FRIENDLY.
• edited February 2007
What happened is that I edited John's post to see how he got the fake Mario Edit line in it, and I fucked up somehow and it left my edit mark on it. For a while it had two edit marks, until I got the bright idea of removing Mario's, so only mine remained and it looked like a legitimate banning.

THERE WE GO!

ARE THERE ANY MORE QUESTIONS?
• edited February 2007
How did you get the fake edit line?
• edited February 2007
Black magic.

HURRY UP WITH THE BREW! IT'S BEEN OVER TWO MONTHS AND I HAVEN'T EVEN GOT MY FIRST PANEL YET!

I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!

Edit: Also, is the current brewer still Elijah Fleming? If so, it has been for the last month.

AAAAA! STOP IGNORING ME!

Okay, just for that I will tell the public that *removed* of the brews are made.

uh, what? that's a weird edit to make, and now i'm confused.
• edited April 2007
Would you rather I say that 6% of the brews are made?
• edited April 2007
Uh, that gives the exact same information. Be patient, it's less annoying to the rest of us that way. And don't whine about Brew delays in the forum; if you want to check on the status of a Brew you're participating in, contact geoko directly, either via PM, IM or e-mail.

let's see, 6% of 100...If only I took basic math...
• edited April 2007
Dude, come on. It's so simple, all you have to do is divide the 6% into the 100, but brews cycle around, as in a circle, so then you multiply with Pi and square the answer. But, since there's always a chance of the project stopping before it's reached all 100 of the initally intended brews, we must solve it in terms of the limit as X aproaches N, if X=the latest brew completed and N=the total number of brews to be completed. So, it's like, 17 or something.

Sorry. I just needed to yell at someone.
I'm feeling quite better now, thank you.
By someone I meant the community at large.
• edited April 2007
Please don't take out your aggressions on the community at large in the future.
• edited April 2007
Don't yell at your teammates, either.

EDIT: ..and especially not in public. You have all our email addresses.
• edited April 2007
Also: blow out your food. Seriously.
• edited April 2007
Damn! Who's sig/title was that? If I don't know it's going to bug me for the rest of this hour. Then I'll probably forget it.
