edited February 2007 in Comics
ATTENTION! Okay, listen up recruits! I have a new mission for you to do in the honor of sprite comics! Video game characters are too busy to make hourly comics this time of year. What I need YOU to do is to make one for them! That will be all! TROOP AT EASE.

Any idea how long we'll have, these'll be some lengthy pieces.

Don't worry. I'll give you time.

I'm not an hourly comic kinda guy. I'll return to my judging duties this time.

Forgive my naive-ness, but what the hell are hourly comics?
  • edited February 2007
They happen to be comics. Oh yeah. Normally, people draw them! Annnd..they take one designated day, and they take a note of what they are doing each hour. After the day, they draw a panel to represent each hour of the day. Also, sometimes people draw tyhe panels actually at the time they say. You can see some hourly comiocs below done by various Orange-Belters.

    Ok. thanks.

I'll sit this one... On second thought I'll judge.
    If that's ok.

ENTRIES WOULD MAKE MY DAY SPARKLE.

Hehe, one smart-ass entry coming up.

I don't have time for hourly comics at the drop of the hat!

One smart-ass entry for table 12! It comes with a side of lazy, because I didn't even bother to capture different screenshots for water animation. Enjoy Snorlax's hourly comic!

    Oh, very clever.

Your comic fills me with RAGE!!
  • edited February 2007
Yeah, but it fills Agentcel's day with sparkles. ;)

Mmmm...sparkles. What happened to your inspiration, Night Lord?
  • edited February 2007
    It's been replaced with RAGE!!
  • edited February 2007
That may have been my doing...

How's that possible? Did you use secret mind control waves to plant that comic idea in my brain? I knew I never should have traded my tin-foil hat for an ice scraper. :(

    Oh wait, now I see:

I'm still pretty sure that my comic induced a completely seperate line of rage, though.

I had an amusing thought for this. Not sure if I'll go through the needed effort to make it into more than a thought though.

A day in the life of a grue:

He never got hit by an arrow!
  • edited February 2007
I love no one is really putting too much effort into this.

    Snorlaxes are purple?
  • edited February 2007
Don't look at me, I just ripped from the game.

    It's a grue, not a wumpus.
  • edited February 2007
Sorry, it's been awhile since I played.

Technically the Snorlax comic shouldn't have any panels.
  • edited February 2007
Im probably gonna sound pretty lost but...what the hell is a grue?

A grue is a beast that lives in dark caves, sometimes called a Cave Grue, it eats passing adventurers.

Not much else is know about Grues because they never go outside of their caves.

Yes it should. The contest criteria is as follows:

Meaning I make this comic on behalf of a character. In my case, Snorlax. This is what Snorlax did all day, and I made a comic for him to show that.
