I think I'm just going to go back to my previous stance on not bothering to translate this. Maybe if I could find a webscript to do it automatically...
I had a simple program that was translating it with some success, but Mr. Mindflayer had to go and change things up and I've lost the source code for it! Now I'll have to rewrite it from scratch and make it so I can translate his too!
Well when you write it again, keep in mind that the preferred method of translation is that CAPSLOCK=a, as opposed to '=a. However, since SOME PEOPLE do it that way, you may want to allow for both possible iterations.
But the code is not based on simply a cypher where letter x equals letter y, it's a code based on hand shifting on a qwerty keyboard. Q is obviously a tab, and as for Z, well, if your decoded word turns out to be "ombie", "ebra", or "ounds", then there's just a small bit of detective work that must be facilitated on your part.
