Captain N is also coming out on DVD at the end of the month. But I guess money is the bottom line sometimes. Still, if you wanna support the industry...

Hey, I'm all for DVDs, I just didn't know one was coming out.

The DVD industry is doing fine.

I was more referring to supporting the industry of companies releasing cherished television shows from our childhood on DVD. Captain N is pretty limited appeal as it is, so every DVD sale helps convince them that they're on the right track.

Well I didn't know the DVDs existed, thus I assumed people wanted to have a way of watching them.

Hey, I've got no problem with watching the videos online if they're available. And legal.

Even though I'm all for supporting the DVD, I need instant Captain N gratification! I'll worry about "economics" later!

    This rocks!

    Finally some kudos!

Wow, I watched about 15 seconds of the first one and it was really scary. I'll just stick to good ol' Howard and Nestor, thank you very much.

Their voices hurt my brain. Especially Mega Man's.

Look away, people! Don't ruin your sugar coated memories of your childhood by watching these shows as adults! You'll never smile again!

I SHOULD KNOW. ITS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME

Dude, that's not funny, my brother died that way.

So does this mean that they'll be releasing the SMB3 animated series on DVD too? I loved that show when I was a kid.

I already have the Super Show vol. 2, but I can't wait for the SMB3 show. Super Show has been a great source for random screenshots, though.

Aww, don't you want one? How could they only put those guys into three games?

The batman and superman cartoons by the guys that made justice league are still super awesome and always will be, no matter how old I get.

I have SMB3 on VHS. Dubbed in Dutch...I don't think the voices are any less annoying.

Well, you're proably right about that. For 2 reasons.

    1. You're watchign those shows now, as someone who is old enough to have determined their likes and dislikes. Young kids, on the other hand, like all kinds of crap with very little regard to its actual quality. I loved Captain N as a kid, but I admit that its mostly because I liked everything associated with Nintendo when I was young. I even liked the Zelda cartoon.

    2. These newer shows are designed to appeal to late-teens and young adults more than little kids. As a result, they tend to be much, much more entertaining to people with a slightly higher mental maturity than 5.
