    I don't know if the Beatles music particularly fit, but both conjured melancholy emotions. That sacrifice the man made at the end moved me the most.

    True that. He gave up motorcycling and photography -two hobbies that he loves, which most defiantly require eyes- so that she could continue to be a model.
